  1. I have this light box that I'd like to sell: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0094HBU6I/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1487552628&sr=8-1&keywords=Verilux%2C+Inc It's a great light box, but I replaced it with a different device that attaches to a visor to wear. If anyone's interested in buying it, please PM me. :) Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  2. I love using Google Photos. It's free if you allow it to reduce your photo size a bit. It doesn't affect how photos look online or even when printed at 4x6. I have it upload everything automatically via wifi. I also share albums with family because I don't post family photos publically. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  3. You do you, girl! I think it's great. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  4. Fascinating! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  5. You could look for an Airbnb - I bet you could easily find one for $100/night. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  6. I think I've still seen those. You want the "big biscuit" type. My brother and I called them haystacks. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  7. S.W. Graham cereal!!! It was apparently only out for about 6 weeks in 1992, but I've never forgotten it and I LOVED IT. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  8. I use "clipnosis" on rescue cats; works like a charm on most of them. I use the biggest binder clips I can find, scruff and clip them, and then cut nails, etc. In your case, I would use the binder clip and have your son continue to hold the cat while you work on her in short sessions. 9. Best wishes during this scary time. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  10. I have the Mosey Life convertible backpack; I find it at TJMaxx and I love it. It's hard to find online now, apparently, but you can see videos of it to see if it's something you might like and still find it somewhere: http://luggage-sets.net/shop/mosey-life-convertible-backpack/ It has so many pockets that I can really organize things and I love it for traveling. 11. My husband and daughter like it, and I've finally watched all the movies, but I'm saying things lkie, "WAIT. YODA DIED?!! WHEN? HOW?!!" and literally today, in the grocery store, my daughter asked if I wanted a Kylo Ren pinata and I said, "No. Why?" "Because you HATE him, Mama! He killed Han Solo!" "WAIT. HAN SOLO DIED?!! WHEN? HOW?!!" And so it goes... Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  12. You're not pathetic! If it's not your thing, then it's not your thing. I don't like...umm...FOOTBALL, but I'm not going to feel bad about it. Screw it - life's too short to spend it doing something you don't like for an entire week. Hugs, though - because if you're on the trip, you're going to have to make the best of it until you can get home. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  13. I never post in these threads, but I'm so proud of all I accomplished today. I'm taking two classes this semester, so I got my daily work done for each. I've had to switch to doing housework on Saturdays, but it actually only took me about an hour to clean the bathrooms, vacuum, and get laundry going. I changed our sheets, did all the laundry AND folded it and put it away. I baked some dessert with my daughter and we played Ticket to Ride together. I managed to make dinner and clean up from it. I'm exhausted, but the house is so clean and lovely! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  14. I put granola on a salad the other day as wondered if anyone ride had thought of it, but that is definitely "topped" by your mother's banana-on-a-salad idea! [emoji6] Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  15. I'm glad you're hopefully on the mend, and that you felt supported here. Listen - unless it's about kilts, cupcakes, or politics, no one's going to judge you here! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  16. Thank you for plugging my fair city! No one ever says, "Go to Syracuse in February!" We are not a pretty place, but we are so friendly and many of us love our poor old city. Sadly, our snow has been iffy these past few years. Also, if you don't like driving in the snow, you may have trouble getting around, although we absolutely just keep going regardless of how much snow we get; it takes a lot to stop us. Our roads will be plowed and salted, so it's no big deal, but if you're not use to it, it may be worrisome. But YES - come ski at Lab or Toggenberg, go tubing at Four Seasons, go to an SU basketball game at the Dome (Hey! We won tonight!), stay downtown at our new hotel (nice indoor pool!) - or come stay at my friend's Airbnb! Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  17. My step-mother went there in the '80s and loved it. I know that's super helpful! 😠Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  18. If it were a beach house with my friends - OF COURSE!!! If they're random mothers...still probably yes, but I would go do my own thing unless I hit it off with one of them. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  19. I watched "Suffragette" today because of this thread! I took my daughter and two of her friends to Susan B. Anthony's house after the election and we read up on the suffragists. We're planning to visit the Women's Rights National Historical Park this summer, and I'm marching in Washington on Saturday, so we are spending a lot of time talking about rights up in here! 20. We found that it was best to plan one tour that required contacting our representatives each day. Then we slotted everything else around those tours. Plus, seeing two new things/places each day is PLENTY. Exhibits we often visit when in DC we just stop in and "visit" like an old friend; we don't spend much time in the rest of the museum. We told the representatives which day worked best for each tour and we were well-accomodated. How many days will you be there and how many "rep. tours" are you aiming for? Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  21. I totally agree! In fact, that movie makes me so furious because of the anti-suffrage message. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  22. I shave. I love how smooth it leaves my skin and allows for smoother make-up. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  23. How many do you get, anyway? I'm going back to like all these posts... Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  24. I never knew that people only tipped on pre-tax until my MIL mentioned it. We can afford to tip at least 20â„… on the total, add I give more if the person makes special connection - extra funny, very engaging, sorts out a problem. It's only a few dollars to me, but could be much more to them. Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
  25. Yes - come hang out at Allnurses! If they would only go back to Tapatalk, my life would be perfect. 😉 Sent from my XT1049 using Tapatalk
