  1. We use the leg whole space for the dogs water dispenser.
  2. We use as ours as a coffee and tea bar. Cook books are in the extra cupboard space
  3. No my best friend is in the path of totality but we just can't make it work 😔
  4. Impressive my middle was like that to when they did gymnastics but always had uncanny upperbody and core strength
  5. Awesome!! We only did pull ups for presidential fitness test thing so not one I worked out a lot just did enough to get the top award and hopped down
  6. The hand grip makes a huge difference good chance skl actually was doing chin ups as a kid peope can do hundreds of those. Still very impressive
  7. Knee push ups put less starin on the shoulders when I was wrestling several of the heavyweights had to do knee push ups to avoid shoulder injuries. They could bench way more than I could but I could do push ups all day. I could do pull ups all day too but I could never climb the rope for some reason just couldnt get they technique I guess we didn't do it often but everyone thought it was weird.
  8. I would definitely let them know and I know my teens do to if its a real person
  9. Ugh we do a hybrid but one we choose our curriculum. I wouldn't like it but I could see how in your situation it might be a net positive
  10. Ive looked to but havent bought
  11. No indoor is definitely not required my neice and 2 nephews were all Jr ranked and 2 played in college and they never did indoor. They were outside Jackson wyoming they could only play a few months out of the year and the nearest indoor place would have been several hours.
  12. My first memory is waking up in the middle of the night and finding my 17 yr old sister drunk trying to bite through my dads hand to get her keys while my mom was calling the police. Also once when I was 3 I got bored at my dads soccer game and decided to walk home. We kids we playing and hide & seek so it took a while for anyone to notice. I made it almost 2 miles apparently only 1 person thought it was weird to see someone that young walking alone and called the cops.

  14. We got several hours in this weekend but now we are having dangerous high winds.
  15. Us too we even bought a special basket it takes forever to get heated and doesnt get things as crispy. We have the instant vortex that doesn't bother our dogs but don't remember how big it is
  16. This was us to. Though PE became daily and we had school sports than. So I was more active but in a less free way
  17. 11 is probably the least active year of my childhood. I played soccer 2, 2 hour practices a week.and games on the weekends. Recess was 30 minutes a day. PE was multiple times a week but I often missed due to gifted program pulloutsm The school year I didn't get outside much stayed with my dad after-school. Occasionally me and the other teacher kids would go outside but mostly we stole candy and watched videos from the library or I read books alone. Summer was pretty much non stop activity with even more soccer camps would last all day or roaming around the neighborhood with friends.
  18. Thats amazing!! We have a lot of apps and phone lines but actual locations is amazing!!
  19. Love it! Micro climates are so weird. I worked at sports center and have seen one field rained out while the one 100 feet away was stayed completely dry.
  20. My teens only do those things every once in awhile. A lot of them are 20 minutes away the roller rink is close by . They mostly just hangout at people's houses or coffee shops watch movies and play games
  21. I think your area seems to have been hit particularly hard. We don't live anywhere amazing but their is a rollerrink, bowling alley, trampoline park, ice rink, mini golf and laser tag tweens and teens can be dropped off at or get to themselves. Some require parent waiver but once its done they can go forever.
  22. This I stayed with after school in my dads classroom just doing whatever everyday after school. Sometimes I had to hangout at the Colorel Blinds were my mom worked or the Italian restaurant that was my dads 2nd job. My kids never had to do that.
  23. Im kind of the opposite we were a huge sports family with my older sister doing competitive soccer in another city from like 12 yes old. I followed in her footsteps. When I was young kid I did play with the neighbors outside when I was home but their was a lot of tv watching. We lived where it always rained and never snowed. Than as teen my parents moved us into a condo with no other teens or kids and I mostly just did scheduled activites read or watched tv. My kids have a much more open schedule even doing sports because we homeschooled. Park meetups or playdates are available at least weekly. My teens can drive now but we moved to this house partially because it was close enough for them to walk or bike to stores, coffeee shops, roller rink. It did take some intentional choices I refused to live in one of those suburban sprawl neighborhoods and said either in town or rural enough to have dirt bikes and stuff. Don't get me wrong somethings have definitely changed my little plays with the neighbor kids but not as much because they have to be watched.
