  1. I'm thinking for $9.99 it is a worthy risk even if only my 11 y/o can use it. I needed something for copywork anyway. I might be able to kill two birds with one stone. Kimberly
  2. I have 11 y/o girl and 9 y/o boy and 6 y/o girl. Not sure if we are going to continue AAS even with the younger 2. I like it but it is becoming cost prohibitive this year. Kimberly
  3. Asmall, How old are your kiddos? Kimberly
  4. I have similar questions but no answers for you. Kimberly
  5. I am ROTFL at your post! Thank you. Half the time, having to choose a curriculum is what sends me to therapy, the other half the time it is the kids who send me to therapy! Enjoy your little cards and charts! Kimberly
  6. If it is too hot to go outside, my kids have fun playing a game together first like Zingo or Uno, Tag or whatever floats their boat that week. They are 11, 9, and 6. We play that before we do group stuff or independent stuff. Letting them play in the hose has been a good break when it is 90 something by 9am. I'm the one who has trouble getting up and going in the morning, so doing something while they eat breakfast is out of the question for us. Kimberly
  7. Do you just need all your supplies in one place and portable? What about loading up a wagon and pulling it around the house? Also, if stationary is good as well, I love this from Staples. http://www.staples.com/Staples-The-Desk-Apprentice-Rotating-Desk-Organizer/product_597003 Kimberly
  8. There was a thread going a while back about these. They are worth $5 for sure! Hang them with Command hooks almost anywhere! Kimberly http://www.mardel.com/store/group.aspx?groupid=129&utm_source=SilverpopMailing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=082111%20Email%20(1)&utm_content=
  9. I like how you think! Kimberly
  10. I don't know how to explain the conceptual part of it but mechanics-wise this is what I had my dtr do. Write the problem on a white board in one color then use different colors to circle together which numbers you multiply first, another color for second, then on down the line. Then I kinda created a "fill in the blank" section remind her to add, put a zero in, etc. I even wrote an "x" or a "+" where it was used to jog her memory. I walked her through several problems and reiterated the "move right to left". When she moved to doing it on paper, highlighters helped a lot to circle. She eventually got to the point that all those extra steps weren't needed. HTH a bit, Kimberly
  11. Here is an awesome link for free mazes of all levels. We print these out then put them in page protectors. I've also had an OT recommend taping all written work to wall, easel or underside of a table to encourage the arm and core to get into the writing process. http://www.krazydad.com/mazes/ Kimberly
  12. If I have the model number right, Staples has this printer on sale for $79.98 this week. I believe you can use their $5 off coupon on it as well. http://www.staples.com/Brother-MFC-J615w-Inkjet-All-in-One/product_866540&cmArea=CIRCULAR Kimberly
  13. I thought it was $10 for the card? How did you score it for $5? I have been debating the value of it... Kimberly

You could hang it on a large command hook. I use it for my filing system on the back of the laundry room door. Kimberly
