don't really know how to handle this.... Teens and porcupines handle with gloves, more for your sake. Babies sniff check before handling. Kids you can handle in a good sized box.

How do/did YOU handle everyday toddler-ness? Lots and lots of coffee, a good sense of humor and baby gates. Underbed storage for off-season clothing I keep my monster under there. He would be mad if I started shoving my stinky snow boots under there.

If you have multiple kids: combine or keep separate? I keep combined, until they fight. Then I separate them out.

Upright pianos: which brands should I consider? The ones with good posture.

If you don't have eggs for breakfast then what do you eat? The souls of the little children that bicker and whine before I have had my coffee.

Am I right to worry that a grand piano would spoil a kid? If you dropped it on them you might spoil them. You would probably cry out MTHFR if it landed on your toe.

I thought I was done after two wonderful girls, but didn't get my tubes done. My accidental third pregnancy and delivery was a absolute nightmare. I got my tubes done. I miss it sometimes. I think its normal to always have a little ache. Do I regret it. No. Not one tiny bit.

IDs for children flying? Hang glider, slingshot, or catapult. I herd that pterodactyls were once a choice that went out of fashion. Stay away from umbrellas, I here they cause E.R. cases. Speaking of which a helmet is highly recommended. You could do a unit on physics. Nothing like learning while flying.

I live in the middle of nowhere on twenty acres. There is no one around for 10 miles or more. I let the kids roam free. The rules are go together, take the dogs, if the coyotes get close leave, and be home when the sun touches the mountains west. Winter time I am a little more strict but they are less likely to roam far. I let my ten year old drive home. I have seen a 9 year old in a truck in town. I don't want her in town because people are involved. So, my roads only. The town is that small. Everyone gets their own post box because they don't won't do mail service, for anyone. There is no library, no park. They have general store, a doctor, and an ambulance (that couldn't find me when I needed them). Just a small school that is prek-12. I let her work the stove with me by her side. She is actually doing good. She helps with all aspects of dinner, and lunch. I let her work the wood stove we have here for heat. She cares for animals. She raises baby kittens. She handles her own money, and even let her shop someone independently. I go over plans with her on gardening, bartering, or going to the auction so she can understand. I could ask her this person wants me to sell him 2 quarts of goat milk for a bunny? Good idea or bad? Why? My middle is starting to learn the lessons my oldest did to get her to her independence level. That is hard to let them do things on there own. For example, if you throw things at the turkey it will hurt you. The middle is also starting to be entrusted with raising baby animals, and taking care of plants. I like to sit back and let them deal with what they can. Both of my girls kill their own spiders, because I know they can. My oldest loves to build things like tire swings and bridges (2.5ft max). I let them have hammers and nails, screws, and drills. Saws are supervised. We did have to go in for a tentnis shot, but no one has hurt themselves in the tree house. Cute baby goats are on the way here in another month. I am so rural, that even I am no good in the bigger cities. I think I would be way more freaked if I was urban.

Both of mine had similar issues. They have trauma anxiety. My middle has it the roughest. She is my aspie baby, on top of the anxiety. If I get mad at her she will beg me not to abandon her again. She gets violent, and throws things. Both of my kids it took them almost a year to let me pee alone, 2 months to get the oldest out of my bed, 3 for the middle who is now sleeping with her sister. They won't sleep alone. The wake up and have to check to see if I am there, and wake me up. I spend most of my day with them attached to me. I am an aspie with, pstd, and depression. Its not easy.
