I think she has, I think she will next year for sure. We are awaiting her 7th grade STAAR score. She had a 96 in ELAR this year and recieved "Most improved" by the teacher.

Daughter's reply: 2 hours a week of class time the whole academic year First semester: 1-2 hours of out of class time a week working on assignments Second semester: 2-4 hours of out of class time a week working on asignments With more often 1 hour in first and 2 hours in second semester. The end of year project is a research paper which there is no class time and more time given to write such paper. Daughter found this very doable along with 7th grade year at public school. Again, she learned a greater depth and skills in this class than public school 7th grade ELAR.

I also want to add, Kyla Myers was very easily reached with email. And responded very quickly to all questions. I was very happy with the delayed course!

Just wanted to say that D13 finished WWSI Delayed Course with Kayla Myers and received a 97%. She is a public school kid and took this course while in 7th grade. I was uncertain how she would do as D13 is very much a reluctant writer. The parts to whole was perfect for her. She said she learned so much more in this course than in her 7th grade English class which focused on writing this year. Just wanted to let you know the Delayed Course worked very well with my kiddo. I would whole heartily recommend Kayla Myers!

My daughter took the SAT yesterday with the Essay and the kids that did not do the essay had an extra section.

I don't remeber what I wanted to be at 12-14, but I do remember at 16, I wanted to be a movie star and drive a Mercedeces. I thought all you had to do was want it and it would happen.......

D is taking the real SAT with writing May 7th just to see what it is like. This is just for us, not anything else. Since she is in middle school, the scores will be wiped away after middle school. Just having her work through one of the official practice test untimed to familarize herself with the directions.

Can you tell what what (other sources, etc) you used for Alg 2 besides Foerster text? Will be starting Foerster Alg 2 this summer. Thank you

Are his enzymes trending down? Is he still NPO? (nothing by mouth), still on IV fluid? Really supportive can and resting the gut is the treatment. If is very frustrating to not no the cause! I am praying for a speedy recovery and a cause to be found.

D12 took the Holland test, she was way high for "I" and a tiny bit "R" and "C". I would love to expose D12 to the career of an Actuary but don't know how. We have looked over "Be an Actuary" but still she can't wrap her head around it. Neither can I.

D12 is 1/2 Asian Indian and boy is the dark facial hair developing in puberty. Yikes.

Hmmmmmm. I am seeing a match between your older son and my D12...............
