  1. My 14DD had a mix of AG and OG dolls and they fared the same and just fine. All but 1 AG doll were purchased at consignment sales so she was at least the 2nd owner of the OG dolls.
  2. It's been 12 hours and I hope you are feeling better but if you're not, here are some things I would try if it were me. (1) Apologize to myself. Out loud. (2) Write out the story of what happened and include all my feelings. Then shred it. (3) Ask myself - what are the takeaways from this experience? And write those down and keep them in a safe place to bring out whenever you need reinforcement to follow your gut. (4) Ask myself what if questions like what if I just dropped all the anger and frustration at myself - how would I feel now and how would I move forward? Or what if I just write down some takeaways from this incident and then let it go? What if questions to reorient my brain forward type stuff. I'm sorry. Chocolate helps.
  3. Our TV went off but the radio did not. We had fun and turned all devices on to see what happened.
  4. Ok so you don't have to have cell service for the cellphones to go off. My kids have older iphones that they use for cameras and limited texting/youtube when they have WIFI. We got them out to see what happened and they both alarmed.
  5. I'm so sorry he's got all of this. Praying it clears up without having to transfer.
  6. Oh Ceramics!!!!! What fond memories that word brings. First it was my grandfather who started making ceramics with his friends when he/they retried and my grandmother and her friends had to find something to keep them occupied and out of their ladies activities. Lighted Christmas tree, Nativity set, a giant Basset Hound - I never knew what he was going to give me next!! Fast forward about 10 years and it was me (in my 20s) and my Mom taking ceramics classes at our church and spending a lovely Thursday evening together just chilling and creating. Bowls, mugs, cups, sugar bowls and pitchers, candle holders, plates, Christmas ornaments, butter dishes, anything and everything with a scalloped edge, a lighted reindeer. Oh the memories!!!!!!!! I loved making ceramics and have many treasures tucked around the house.
  7. I am so, so sorry. Praying for peace and comfort.
  8. I haven’t done it yet but what about Amazon KDP and let them print it? There are a gazillion videos on YouTube. I’m toying with creating low to medium content books to sell. Journals, puzzle books, etc. I’m just watching YouTube videos and playing around to figure it out. I’m going to start with something that is very easy like a lined journal to learn how to create the pages and put the book together and get it uploaded. It probably won’t sell but I’ll have gained know-how.
  9. It's adjustable!!!!! I didn't have my readers on but my DH figured it out.....................
  10. If that ring actually fit, I would definitely wear it sometimes!!!!! It's a fun little ring. It's a weird material though - not exactly plastic but not exactly metal either. It is way too big though!
  11. Gaea olive oil. I was the same story. I never liked olive oil until about 4 months ago when I bought a $20 bottle of Gaea olive oil (Ancient Olympia olive variety) at Publix and fell in love with it. Drizzled it on salads with a splash of balsamic vinegar. I've given it to everyone in my family who has had a birthday in the last 4 months and they have all loved it. Unfortunately I don't see the Ancient Olympia olive variety in my store so I'll have to try another of the Gaea bottles when I run out. I hope it's just as good!!!!! It is expensive at $20 a bottle but it goes on sale for $14 a bottle. But it is the best olive oil I've ever tasted in my whole life. Edited to add: I bought the Gaea olive oil on a whim after watching a video of Dr. William Li (Eat to Beat Disease author) talking about olive oil and recommending finding an olive oil that lists a single variety of olive. Gaea was the only brand I found at my grocery store that listed a single variety of olive.
  12. My Stanley cup order arrived!!!!!!!! Plastic diamond ring...... The seller approved my charge dispute a couple of weeks ago and the bank finalized the charge reversal. The package continued to move on tracking and arrived at my city's usps yesterday. So I knew something would arrive and was looking forward to seeing what was in the box. I Googled the address and came up with a webpage of people complaining about receiving fake rings they didn't order and having disputed charges on their credit card. So I'm sure this is my Stanley cup order. LOLOLOL
  13. My 11yo DS absolutely loves these boxes and the Mark Rober videos to go with them.
  14. I'm so sorry. I hope you and he both can both get rest soon.
  15. I've met several people who believe in chem trails and one flat earth person but haven't yet encountered a fake moon landing person. My DH has his hobby pilot's license and he'll sometimes be asked about seeing the curvature of the earth from the plane. I once watched part of an elaborate video demonstration of how the earth is flat and how that works. It was amazing in its detail but so very wrong.
  16. I was 9 when Elvis died. My best friend was staying with us because her mom was in labor with her sister. Her mom was a huge fan of Elvis and had a scrapbook and I had never heard of him. I don't remember how old I was when the Sunshine Bridge in Tampa collapsed. My uncle took that bridge about half the time he went to work and my aunt had no idea which bridge he had taken that morning. I had to go to school and I didn't want to go but they made me go. I rushed home to great relief that he'd taken a different bridge and was fine. I was home sick when Reagan was shot. The room was dark and I didn't feel well and I didn't really understand what everyone was talking about. When the Challenger exploded, I was in math class. All the science classes were watching it live and one of the students ran into our class and shouted the news. He was typically the class prankster so we didn't believe him at first. Then it was very somber. When the Columbia disintegrated, I was out of town visiting my sister. We were rushing back to her house so we could watch the landing when we heard the news on the radio. Then we slowed down because we really didn't want to go home to her house anymore. I was at work when 9/11 happened. My boss had a tv in his office and we all huddled around it. Once they started saying the towers would collapse, none of us wanted to watch it. But none of us could walk away either. That's probably one of the worse days of my life. It's interesting how these tragedies really capture the moment and sear themselves into your brain. Sounds, smells, sight, feeling.
  17. Well great. I decided to be helpful and Googled the phrase "short video for what happens if you don't set goals". Want to know what came back as the very top result? A video about how goals are dumb and to set objectives instead. It's a clip out of a larger video so I watched it. Interesting concept because he says goals can either limit how far you go or you can fail and lose your self-worth. He advocates setting objectives instead because they are limitless. So maybe find different terminology for the same concept as goals? Like objectives as in the video? Or intentions. Or paths. I prefer "aiming" type language instead of goals. The rocket ship and moon phraseology that if you aim for nothing, you'll reach it. But if you want to go to the moon, you have to aim for it.
  18. The bank got all my details and told me it would take 2 banking cycles to show up. At the same time, I emailed the address on my order receipt to cancel the order. This morning, I have an email saying that it has shipped and can't cancel. I replied that their website has disappeared, their shipper information with Track718 is not found and I've submitted a claim with my bank. If I do in fact receive the product I ordered, I will cancel the claim but I doubt that will happen. Please do not worry that you posted the sale link and that I ordered. I knew I was taking a chance when I placed the order and knew I was taking a chance when I didn't immediately cancel before it "shipped". This has been a learning exercise for my kids as we've talked about it and the lesson is better than anything I lose.
  19. Alright Ladies - I gave up and called my bank to dispute the charge for my "Stanley Cups". I've been tracking the order daily and watching a shipping update every couple of days or so. Then today the website no longer came up on the internet and on the tracking website the "shipper" information had disappeared. Just thought y'all might like to know I threw in the towel on this one. 🙂
  20. I received an email today that my order has shipped and it included a shipping number. I can also go directly to the website and look up my order and see that the order status is "complete" and the tracking number is the same as in my email. I'm hoping................................. I'll let you know what and if I receive them.
  21. The return policy says you can cancel as long as your order hasn't shipped yet. This is the email address they list for contacting them to cancel the order: bradsdeals-us@shfgk.com I'm not vouching for them at all. I'm watching my credit card account and the order tracking to see what happens. I might end up wishing I'd canceled the order and my credit card but I want to wait a little longer and see what happens.
  22. How do we know this isn't a company in Hong Kong that bought out a bunch of BB&B product before it was shipped to stores? I've got my receipt by email. And when I go back to the website and track my order with my email address, it comes up with the order number that matches my receipt although it is listed as "unshipped". I could cancel the order because it hasn't shipped yet. But it seems like I"m going to get something....or maybe it's knock off Stanley cups?
