    So, what place do the kids have to get to receive an award? I think based on this my son was ranked 4th in state and 10th nationally? But did not receive an award. I'm finding the results a little confusing (also our results don't list our state, FL... which seems strange). Level: 4 Center State: Student Score: 84.0 PCT: 87.5 Nation Place: 10 Nation Percentile: 93.56 State Place: 4 State Percentile: 90.38

    I attended TIP summer programs every summer from 7th through 10th grade (Davidson two years, and Duke East Campus two years). They were amazing experiences for me socially and academically (though I would say the primary benefit, for me at least, was social, as it was my first chance to really interact with other gifted kids). I would love to send my son when he's old enough. :)

    New to this board, hi. :) My son just completed Youth Digital Minecraft Mod Design and loved it. He started with a pretty solid knowledge of javascript (via Khan Academy) and some experience with python and logo. He did not seem to struggle with it and really enjoyed modding Minecraft. He is almost 9.
