  1. This is almost exactly how my dd(11) feels about music.
  2. I pierced a friend's nose with a needle in the back seat of her car. No potato involved.
  3. This is wonderful news. Keeping you in my thoughts as you continue the path of healing.

  7. Mayonnaise, especially with fresh herbs.
  8. When I was in high school my math teacher asked me, "What happened to your nose?." He was a nice guy, and I am not sure what compelled him to say such a jerk thing to a fifteen year old girl with an ugly nose. I said, "Nothing asshole!" and ran out of the class humiliated. I never went back to the class because I couldn't face him or the other kids who had heard. It was traumatic. He gave me a C, which I did not deserve because I never turned in another piece of work or took another test.
  9. I have had you in my thoughts all day today, Linda. Many hugs your way.

  12. My son is on the third and final book of Dancing Bears. His decoding skills are getting much better, and I am looking ahead to what we will do once he is finished with DB. He is reading more complex writing, but both his fluency and comprehension need a lot of work. I am looking for suggestions to attack these specific skills. Thanks!
  13. I bought a pair of Outdoor Research shorts at the thrift store last summer and LOVE them. They are light, sturdy, comfortable. I have looked on their website and they are expensive, but I might actually buy a second pair because they have a million hours on them and still look and feel good. It is hot and humid where I live and I wear them hiking all the time. I hope your trip is relaxing.
