The screenplay in book form was available at Books-a-Million yesterday.

If your kids can sit through the HP movies without having to hide their eyes or leave the room because some parts are disturbing to them, then they'll be fine. Otherwise I wouldn't recommend it. One of my children cried in this one.

Start on the Universal side so you can go to Diagon Alley first, and ride the Hogwarts Express TO Hogwarts for the first time. If you and your dd don't have an immense desire to ride rides together, you could do the big rides (Escape from Gringotts, Forbidden Journey, Flight of Hippogriff, Dragon Challenge) as one at a time as single riders to avoid the lines.

I think at this point I would block all their numbers from my phone, block them on FB, and let them sort out their own messes without any assistance from me!

I just wondered if the huge disconnect between their overall scores and the listening score indicated something was amiss.

If a child has mostly high scores on the Iowa, say 80th percentile or above, but their listening score is much lower, around 40th percentile, does that indicate an issue that needs addressing in the form of an evaluation?

I know people who just abbreviate their names in their FB profile -- Like if the name was Suzy Smith, their FB name is Su Sm. I'm guessing they only use it for groups and such. Our very large local homeschool support group tried really hard to move away from using a FB group. They had a big unveiling of a new log-in only social media site specific to our group. It was a bomb. Hardly anyone used it and people kept posting on the FB group instead.

If your daughter is already doing a strong pre-A program, I think watching the videos on the AoPS website and going through Alcumus (it's really free to have an Alcumus account? Wow!) would be a sufficient supplement, plus it would be a good test to see if she likes the AoPS method.
