  1. I have a good friend from Wise, VA. I would agree with your assessment. Western Carolina? Might not have the right major.
  2. My niece got her master’s degree from University of Northern Arizona this week. Her department did a virtual hooding ceremony where each of the professors talked about the students they advised. It was really cool because we got to hear about all of their projects. UVA is doing an outdoor ceremony. Each grad gets to bring two guests. It will be live streamed, too. (I have another niece graduating from there.)
  3. In case you didn’t see my edit... GT would not be inexpensive out of state. Sorry for my fat thumbs typo.
  4. Georgia Tech has a School of Industrial Design. GT would not be inexpensive for out of state, nor close to Missouri, but the website might give you some information.
  5. There’s an older woman who walks her dog around the pond in my neighborhood, and the dog spends a lot of the time in the dog stroller. I chatted with her one day. Her dog is blind, and when there are lots of people or other dogs around, he goes in the stroller so he won’t be scared or startled. But he loves to be out and about. There’s another woman who carries her dog for most of his walk. He just gets tired. And, because dogs with strollers make me think of dogs with clothes, my son adopted a greyhound. She has dinosaur pajamas to wear when it’s cold. She has like no fat and very little fur to keep her warm. She loves her dinosaur pajamas. And all the little kids in the neighborhood love them, too.
  6. Are you all saying that I am really the only person who wants the Louis Vuitton Lockheed C-5 plane bag?

  9. Publix store brand gluten free pasta is good.
  10. One thing I like to do is cut out a bunch of triangles. Then cut the vertices off the triangle and physically add the angles to get her to show you get a line, or 180 degrees. Don’t use a protractor. Literally cut the angles off the triangles and add them together.
  11. It is actually helping to keep the school cafeteria workers employed. Go ahead and take the lunches.
  12. David Browne Fire and Rain: The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, CSNY, and the Lost Story of 1970
  13. @Quilland @KungFuPandausually I can get Old Bay in Atlanta. At the moment, it’s pretty scarce. I do have a tin in my cupboard. I just miss it’s universality.
  14. With your tax records? I couldn’t find my kid’s card for years. Then I checked the tax file from the year he was born. There it was. I needed to for a college scholarship, so that tells you how long it stayed in that file.
  15. Diversity and integrated schools and neighborhoods, the Interfaith Center where I went to church, Toby’s Dinner Theater, easy access to DC and Baltimore, Old Bay, crabs, bike paths, ice skating on lakes, my church, tot lots, Merriweather Post Pavilion... But, I like a lot of stuff about where I live now, too. I love the soccer scene in ATL, the tennis scene, Georgia Tech, the education program at Kennesaw State has a lot of great offerings for continuing ed for teachers, did I mention Georgia Tech?

  21. Next week you will be able to practice the uploading part. Then you can decide which device will work best for each exam.
  22. They have offered a full refund. As long as your student doesn’t sign into the test on either test date, the school where you were supposed to test will send you a refund. It might not be immediately because in most school systems no one, not even admin or bookkeepers are in the buildings, but there will be a full refund.
  23. And the new FRQs are available in AP Classroom and should be available to students who are registered in exam only sections, too.
