  1. You might luck out trying to look for something between Bugs and Daffy, they're the two characters that always interacted in the cartoon.
  2. I could never stay in my pajamas all day, even as a child. It makes me feel gross and unproductive. Plus, my back would ache so much at the end of the day. I'll always dress even if I have nowhere to go.
  3. I'm not sure what my dad is, but mom and I are both women's 10 - 10 1/2 give or take the shoe type. Since we wear the same styles, it saves money to just share shoes. She's 5'5 I'm 5'8
  4. I get that one quite frequently now. Before, I was getting ads for a college I was actually considering o_O now that was odd. The worst is the one about the Halo (oranges I believe they are?) having their own station, and it's a bunch of kids gasping in your ears. Freaks me out!
  5. It's nice Irving is teaching kids what to do during earthquakes, but the clip of kids kneeling in the hall and covering their heads is so not correct.

  6. Under. It's too hard to figure out what you're talking about, especially if it's slightly off-topic, without seeing what you're quoting first.
  7. I use Chrome and Firefox the most. They're both pretty basic, but they both have great help sections to help you out. I've also used Opera in the past as well as Safari, but not for a long time.
  8. French Dip with Au jus at Black Angus. No place serves it up as great as they do.
  9. Last time we checked Brookshire's (the closest gas station) it was at $1.93 where we live in Sulphur Springs, Tx.
  10. A pair of sneakers. We couldn't afford much, my mom got slippers, my dad got socks. I got shoes. It was a very feet-filled Christmas.
  11. Santa gifts aren't wrapped around here. And we do stockings after the gifts, then cards.
  12. I didn't know you could outgrow them. When someone moves out, then move that one on. Ours have never been filled with anything expensive. They're usually small things that were bought for less than 5 bucks, or a DVD on occasion. There was no need for expensive stuff in stockings around here lol
  13. We haven't been able to get the newspaper here yet since we moved in sept. However, we've had 2 Sunday papers so far and they're so small there's no real point. Just a few sections, 2 store ads (which can be found online easily), and that's about it. I'd prefer one that had inserts for coupons, but this one doesn't.
  14. Word literally means I agree. Like, word up means 'I comprehend what you are saying and verify that your statement is true, my good brother. ' basically according to urban dictionary :)
  15. Just about anything from Shrek, or more holiday-centric, The Santa Clause 1 & 2.
  16. This kind of sounds like Logan's Run. It came out in the 60s, and there was a movie from the 70s. I can't find any mention of a grandmother, but the rest seems to line up.
  17. After having the neighbor's dog chase me on our own property, I'm completely on edge now. :(

We have a few times, as has the landlord. The dog gets out when they aren't home. But the dog was still coming after me even when I wasn't moving. I've heard the advice not to move lol But my scared = run thinking kicked in first lol

How awful, a dog that gets out when they aren't home?! That's just ridiculous. Unsafe for the dog & for people. I know we want to run but remember unless it's a very tiny old arthritic dog, we just cannot outrun a dog. We simply can't. If it's an ongoing thing, can you make friends with it? Sorry you have to go through that. what a pita! I adore dogs but people are sure irresponsible twits sometimes, aren't they?

Yes. They have 3? I believe, a big black one, a boxer, and some other. The boxer was the one that scared me :( I would attempt to, but thankfully we're moving on Saturday :)! Thanks for the concern though :D They are. I like dogs that are mine, I don't like other dogs lol

  18. Ugh that's the worst! My dad bought my mom earrings once, I believe it was, but he forgot where he hid 'em. Then, she found them later on and thought they were for another woman!!! Talk about awkward lol
  19. Really disappointed I can't get a library card without a driver's license :( I don't drive, darn it.

I haven't, Lawana. I spoke directly to the manager, so I assume that's as high as this tiny library gets lol

Does you state issue photo ID's. Ours does, for those who don't have a driver's license. You may want to check.

Gosh, all we need is a bill or something else "official" with our address on it. No photo id, even.

  20. - Fill mason jars with candy to pass out at Christmas dinner (which is just finger foods ugh) at aunt's house - Get the fixings for Christmas dinner - Wrap gift for mom and gift for dad, sign cards - Have Christmas? Since we moved and we have no room for anything, we're not having much of a Christmas at all on the actual day and as I mentioned in the list, the dinner we're having with family is on new years and it's only 'finger foods' which I'm still not sure what that consists of in these peoples opinion.
  21. When we moved to Texas, we had 2 U-hual trucks and we had the trailer that you hook the car onto to drag along. It's not exactly what you're mentioning, but assume my tips would be helpful regardless. The trailer is going to slow down the truck/car/etc a lot so you need to take that into account. It's also more like to cause your car to tip, which is why we never really drove that fast despite it only taking us 2 or so days to get here from az. Yours might be a bit more sturdy, but my dad who was driving the truck that was dragging the car along was saying that it was causing his car to swerve a fair bit.
  22. I could never get it to work so I just go to google and type in "what I'm searching for, forums.welltrainedmind.com" and it pulls up a lot more.
  23. Not too often since I don't usually have any money. Anything I order was bought in some way with an Amazon Gift Card I got through swagbucks.
  24. We have a 7 foot fake tree that we put colored lights on. We then set the dials so they all twinkle together most of the time. We then have a set of jingle bell-like lights that play music and they light up according to the tune and beat of whatever song is playing. Then at the very bottom we have a string of Disney lights (Mickey/Minnie/Donald/Goofy) that are my favorite to put on, and they just glow. At the very top we have an angel that glows different colors and moves.
