  1. Get a rat, or better, two. Fun, smart, active, trainable, interesting.
  2. I'm EO, so here's the answer I'd give from that perspective. Having a dream, or a thought about someone else like that is not sinful. It only becomes sinful when we give it purchase in our lives, by dwelling the thought or dream, thinking about it, obsessing over it. By dwelling on it, we give the enemy a foothold into our lives, and that we should avoid always. In another thread, someone, Milovany maybe, mentioned mentally handing over one's bad thoughts to Christ to hold, thus freeing us from worrying about them anymore. Don't be ashamed. Just reject the thoughts and go on. :grouphug:
  3. The opera? A dinner theater?
  4. And "birth to earth" too, don't forget! But yes, that was my first thought too. :)
  5. Orangeblossom Broadbelt of Buckland at your service! Or otherwise known as Celebriän Anwamanë
  6. Aw, Nono, you have such good little piratelings!
  7. Of course, honey. Prayers for your little guy.
  8. My twins have naturally gravitated toward doing some things separately as they've gotten older. I never "forced" them to do things apart, but they have managed to do it fine for several years now. Dd1 is Miss Fixit, interested in tools and gadgets, and Miss Artist, spending lots of time drawing with her watercolor pencils. Dd2 is Miss Household, who decides it time to clean their room or the kitchen and often wants to cook/bake something, and also Miss inventor. Though they have so much in common, they're still very different, and each does what she wants as she wishes.
  9. Definitely all your fault, Chucki! ;)
  10. What does your ds like? Dr. Who? Sports? Comic book heroes?
  11. I like Angus, myself. :)
  12. Our co-op had our throats blessed at our monthly Mass on Friday, dc and me included. :)
  13. Get a Gentle Leader head collar--it makes a huge, incredible difference in controlling the dog, and is completely gentle and humane. A really great product, IMO. Also get a NON-retractable leash, preferably a thickish one to give you lots of purchase/traction when you're holding it.
  14. I use Ecos, Magnolia and Lily scent . It's an earth-friendly one, and I am very happy with its cleaning power. (I hate the smell of Tide. My MIL uses it, and I have to rewash things she washes, they reek so strongly.)
  15. Oh, poor fellow, and poor mama! :grouphug:
  16. We eat dinner together every night, as a rule. Occasionally dc are visiting with friends, etc, but those who are home eat together. We work around "activities" like dance, etc, by eating before or after.
  17. Chris, I'd wear that to an Orthodox monastery, where all the rules you're talking about apply, and feel very comfortable and obedient. ;) That seems like a lovely option to me. Enjoy your trip!
  18. Icky and agenda-laden. I'd not attend a seminar whose promoters put out this kind of literature.
  19. So, so precious. :001_wub: Happy babymoon, mama!
