Good Morning! More coffee!☕☕☕ I have ketchupped. :hurray: I've been busy. Mom had a checkup Thursday. She seems to be doing well. He ordered bloodwork. Yesterday I had to go to the big town an hour away to do some banking for mom and some shopping. The weather is beautiful here: mid 70s, sunny, clear skies. Slache, I have read A Song of Ice and Fire novels. I like them. I was never a fan of fantasy/science fiction. These novels were my introduction to the genre, and I like it. So, now I'm curious since Krissi mentioned Blue Willow as a favorite children's book, and I would like to know everyone's favorite children's book(s). I'm making a list. I have several favorite picture books: Is Your Mama a Llama, The Great Kapok Tree, Room on the Broom and more. Chapter books, though, require more thought. Now it is time to get started on my back to school to do list. Have a beautiful day!

Good Morning! Coffee!☕☕☕ We are going to the big city for some shopping today. Ds22 is driving. :hurray: I hate driving anymore. The first day of public school is tomorrow. This is dd17's last year. It doesn't seen right. Time flies. The twins and I are starting on the 9th, hopefully, and plan on finishing May 18th. We have a vacation planned in September for a week or so, and then a couple of weeks off for Christmas and Spring Break. I need to update my signature. Ds22 has been recently promoted to Assistant Jail Commander. I believe he is still planning to become a deputy later. He is making lots of contacts and learning a great deal. He met the Indiana State Police Superintendent last week. He has been doing more town Marshall duties as well. Dd17 is a high school senior. She is interested in becoming a dental hygienist. Two of dh's sisters are in this field. As for homeschooling, we are needing to have an excellent year. If this year is as stressful as last year, public school will be strongly considered. I may be jumping the gun here a bit, and should give myself some slack. I had a difficult time, and many, many distractions last year with mom being here. That is taken care of now. Enough rambling. Yes!!!!! The first night the children cleaned the living room. Dh turned on his stereo, and we jammed. The t.v. is finally getting a well deserved break, and I haven't wore a sweater all day long.

I decluttered and cleaned today, and I did not leave the house once. I have another truckload for goodwill and disposed of many boxes of old paperwork. Then I sorted mom's, tlih and cemetery treasury paperwork. I done several loads of laundry and cooked supper. More cleaning tomorrow. Then I hope to start school prepping. Mom seems to be doing fair. She is complaining of stomach problems, but I think she is not eating properly. She told ds22 she misses all of us. I imagine it is very quite by herself. I will go Saturday or Sunday to sort meds and bring groceries. I am trying to keep my involvement to a minimum. So far, it is going well, but it has only been 4 days. Imma bed. I'm outta likes, and everything is likeable. Dd22 went to the sheriff's office. Dd17 and little dd are singing. Little ds is talking about the internet and ping. He knows more than I do. It is raining a bunch. :grouphug: to Jean.

Good Morning! Coffee! I done all the things for all the people yesterday. I went to the Dr with Dh for his wellness visit and reminded him of all his issues. Everything was taken care of. Then we took a truckload of stuff to Goodwill. I had cleaned the bathroom closet and the twins' bedroom the day before. Next we came home, and I straightened the house a bit before dd17, little dd and I left again to register dd17 for PS. Then we went to the nursing home to visit TLIH and take her some clothes. Apparently, she is causing some problems by being very irritable and not getting along with others. They think her dementia may be advancing. I hope my visit helped. She loves clothing. Afterwards, we went to the Hardware (for dh), Drug store (for Mom and dh), grocery store (for everyone), and then finally home. Upon arriving home, I leave groceries and everything in van because dh is visiting with my cousin, his wife, two foster daughters, and their 13 day old Baby Boy. So, I rush to the swing to hold the baby. So sweet. I gave them several bags of clothing the twins had outgrown, and a double stroller we no longer needed. Dh then decided to take everyone to the beach at 6pm. The children wanted me to go so I went. It came a thunderstorm on the way, and by the time we got there, the beach was deserted. It was glorious. We finally got home, showered and settled about 9pm. Today will be less busy. I refuse to leave the house. I want to declutter some more, so I can prepare school stuff next week. I hope y'all have a wonderful day.

Yes, here too! It was over a 100 degrees here yesterday. This week I am confident I have lost at least 10 lbs of water weight from all the sweating I have done while cleaning at mom's. Part of her house has central a/c and a part doesn't. I bet you can guess which part I had to work in.

Good Morning! Coffee! Terrible storms here last night. I'm thankful for the rain, and hopeful for a cool down. Today is the day!!!!!!!! We should get mom settled this evening! I have worked my tail off getting her house cleaned up, getting repairs scheduled and seen to, having a stand-up shower installed. And everything had better be sunshine and rainbows when she gets down there, or I will be P&$$3d (extremely angry). I still have a couple of things to do, but then I am done. D.O.N.E. Done. Can you tell I'm ready to be finished with this mess? Hope everyone has a glorious day!
