  1. Ah. Well then I guess you already knew. ;)

    :001_huh: No. I didn't know.

After reading the nook thread, I want to understand more about internet security and oversight.

Maybe I should have phrased my question, "What's the big deal with checking browsing history when the surfer can just go incognito (or whatever it's called on other browsers)".

I was wondering if there was a parental control I didn't know about.

I've heard of keyloggers, but always thought of them as for folks who want to see if they had a cheating spouse or something like that!

  2. No. I'm a Christian.

I really don't identify myself by scientific theories I support. I mean, I'm not a Gravitationist, just because I accept the theory of gravity...

Obviously I meant do you identify with what a Theistic Evolutionist believes? But I'll just leave it at that. This is a thread about resources :001_smile:

Of course! God still created everything, the disagreement comes down to method and timing.

Most likely, you're a "literal" creationist in that you think He had to do it in a timeframe and process that you can understand. That is, formed literally from dust, like playdoh and in 6, 24hr days, right?

But a Christian who supports evolutionary processes thinks He used a timeframe that He understands, but that I might not necessarily. As well as a process that is continually being revealed. Is. 55:8-9

So would you consider yourself a Theistic Evolutionist?

  4. Ummm...it seems like this thread has taken an unintended turn in direction. All of my mix-ups in trying to define "creationists" vs "evolutionists" are probably the cause.

I apologize, OP, if you meant the article I had posted previously about evolutionists understanding creationists in order to convert them. I removed it but will PM it to anyone who is interested. I believe the author of that article was referring to non-creationist evolutionists.

And I do believe that I have never written that word in my life until now!

  5. Yes, but not as often as I would like. If I were not HSing I would write more. I also write praise ones as often as I can.

For example, I wrote to CBS during March Madness for running clean, family-friendly ads. Did I get tired of seeing Mr. Baldwin and Mr. Barkley? Sure, but at least the messages were decent and I didn't have to worry about switching the channel quickly at every break..

I wrote to State Farm last month to let them know I'm not a customer nor will I become one. If they feel the need to use "phone sex double entendre" (Jake from State Farm) to sell their product, I'm not buying it.
