  1. I will add that if you haven't watched the Forks Over Knives movie, you really should.
  2. You really need to give thought to how fundamentally wrong it is to ask your wife and kids to spend time ONCE A WEEK! with people you don't even like. So wrong. DWIL Nation can be harsh, but reading some posts on there may help you strengthen your spine and put a stop to this.
  3. He does not enjoy being with his mom or dad, but he feels obligated to maintain a relationship with them. He has you and the kids go with him so that you do the main interaction and he doesn't have to. He is using you to shield him from them. If you were to say."you can see your parents as much as you like, but the kids and I are staying home except on x.y.and z occasions" he would probably not even bother to see his parents.
  4. He is using you as a shield. You need to visit the DWIL message board on Babycenter. Read some stuff there.
  5. Open the app and click on your icon on the upper right hand of the screen. You probably have a notification.
  6. I did not tip our shed builders. However, I think it would be a nice thing to do and I am sure they would appreciate it.
  7. We are doing Simple Solutions for science and social studies this year.
  8. We do the same. My son is mildly on the spectrum. Autism can make school hell. I fully embraced "get 'er done" this year and things have been going much better.
  9. Serial posting to say that she also needs to consider how staying affects her kids. Hearing their father disparage their mother can really do a number on their emotional health and development.
  10. Bottom line: If he is unwilling to make some concessions (counseling, help for his depression, doing marriage exercises from a book, etc), then I sadly don't see much hope for their marriage. She needs to hope for the best, but plan for the worst. I really, really hope he wakes up and decides to do something to help the situation. Hugs for your sister.
  11. I am definitely following this. Nervous, as KU is an Adidas school. As much as I hate to admit it, anything is possible in college Bball. Agree with all the dislike of Pitino. Slime. Pure Slime. A little funny: https://t.co/T52Y1bOPVG
  12. You can have pictures of your minor children posted by somebody else removed by FB if needed. In this case, I would talk to my senior relative about privacy settings.
  13. Both of my kids are allergic to milk (anaphalactic reaction). Both used soy formula with success. It is nutritionally sound. I would try it if I were you.
  14. The first episode is airing on CBS tonight. Might be delayed due to NFL. This week's episode is rated TV-14 as it sirs on CBS (not sure if it will be different/have additional scenes online.)
  15. Target has some great STEM themed clothes for young girls.
  16. Just wanted to drop back in to this thread and say that I found some good underwear. I bought these and love them! They run a tad small, so if you are in between sizes, order up. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06W5D4HRQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  17. You need an attorney to write a strongly worded letter--at the least.
  18. That sounds like the thermostat. I would google it. There might be an easy Youtube video to fix it.
  19. Most 4 year state colleges will have requirements like this: https://admissions.ku.edu/freshman-requirements-deadlines/college-prep-curriculum My local community college has much more lenient requirements that amount to almost open admissions except for selective programs. Small private schools will have varying requirements, but most will require through Algebra 2.
  20. I would also have the mole looked at by a dermatologist.
