  1. I am expecting baby #3 9/2 and am panicking about school with my son (going in to 2nd) and having my (almost) 3yr old who makes school impossible most days..... So, I'm trying to figure out ALL of the things that I could possibly do to prep in advance and get ready. If it's not planned or in our routine, it won't happen. :( . I don't do well "on the fly". And just shutdown instead of making progress :( All this to say - I read somewhere about someone taking all of the copywork sentences from FLL and getting them ready with one of the handwriting web sites (where you type the sentence and print out a handwriting sheet for the student to copy below)...For the life of me, I can't remember the name/location of this hw website. Anyone? That was a long ramble. Can anyone help? And if you have any other tips to prepare for school before baby, I would love them to hear them :) Thanks!
  2. Following and trying to understand. Coming back with more questions asap.
  3. We load our AAS words in to spelling city and play games to review..
  4. Can someone help me understand "looping" subjects? Trying to get a schedule together for our first year homeschooling next year (1st grade) and my head is about to explode.
  5. I love the History Basket time! Great idea - I'm going to use that :) I am planning to buy SOTW and the activity guide (vol 1) for next year - are there supplemental reading lists in the Activity Guide? My son will be in 1st grade and LOVES books and I want to make sure we have plenty of supplemental books to go along with what we are studying in history. Or if anyone has a good list that they've come across of picture books, literature, etc... let me know.
