  1. Hi IsabelC, I have been playing the irish harp and concert harp since I was 5 years old.My sisters play harp, flute, oboe, viola and violin. We always wanted music to be fun and not be worried about exams we built up our repertoire at a young age and we were playing at weddings since we were 9 or 10.I am 17 now and play at weddings and corporate functions and concerts every weekend.I am in uni at the moment studying occupational therapy and at the weekends I have my music.I love music so much.We do music exams here in grades so grade 1-8.I did grade 8 and my diploma but I didn't do any of the others I didn't want and my parents didn't want music to become something I hated by doing exams.I did grade 8 and the diploma just in case I ever wanted to teach the harp to people but that's all I did.
  2. Hi I did Latin in school.I started learning at 6 or 7.We used to learn it through songs and watching videos like these ones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrX5k713gAA and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN9WZfvYWgU .My mom helped me at home too she got dingolingo latin and we watched videos of song school latin on you tube. In secondary school it got harder as there was a lot of translations and they were hard but I soon got the hang of it. I did Irish,French,Spanish and Latin in school. Being honest I found latin the hardest and Spanish the easiest.Spanish and French are completely different to latin and being honest so much easier.I'm not going to comment on Irish because I'm Irish and live in the Gaeltacht so I speak irish every day. Anyway best of luck with the Latin!Amo,amas,amat,amamus,amatus,amant....I'm singing now Jessie

  4. Thanks for replying Cindy. I am going to ask my doctor the next time I see her what can be done to make them go away. There is just so many and they are a constant reminder of everything(I had cancer etc) and they are so deep and awful looking. I am 17 and I want to finally feel normal like everyone else and not have to wear clothes that cover them.
