    dd and I were just saying 'no' over and over again. After the show we were grumping about saying 'I hate british tv' (we don't really). Then we googled and have decided that we will 'allow' Dan Stevens to move on with his own life no matter what we think. :D The show will probably be better for it but it was soooooo sad!

    Is it with a group or is it a service trip? If it's just a personal trip then...weird. If it is with a group they might be getting pressure to fundraise and even be encouraged to 'ask everyone' and 'send an email to every address you have'.

    Can you look up the instruction manual online...maybe there are some over-the-top warnings there. If you know the store where they purchased the stove, maybe you could talk to a salesperson and see what warnings they give. They could have been given mis-information.

    Yes, it felt like bait and switch. It was very painful to already be involved, esp kids, and then find out it was cult-ish.

    Is the protein content in the brands of flour similar? That might make a difference but I'm not sure.
