  1. I think I was number 7. Let’s shake things up here. Snoop Dogg or Dr. Dre my vote: Snoop. He did a cameo on Monk that was hilarious.

    Leg cramps

I can usually tell it’s from certain shoes or walking too much. And it’s occasional—like once every couple of months maybe. I was just thinking more along the lines of something sort of like my bath, which I don’t do anymore. Just a nightly, soothing ritual.

    Leg cramps

I used to take an Epsom salt bath almost nightly—I had a wonderful, clean separate tub. Now I have a combined shower/tub combo and honestly I just can’t bring myself to take a bath in it. It’s not comfortable, I would have to clean it every time before I used it, and then the shower curtain being close to me icks me out. I know that all sounds incredibly picky and weird lol. So, I was thinking a nice cream might be good. I don’t want to ingest anything—looking more for a calming ritual that might actually help with the occasional cramp.

    Leg cramps

@Indigo Blue Do you have a magnesium cream you’d recommend?
  5. Does anyone think something like this actually works? Or have you tried a cream that does? I don’t have restless leg syndrome, but I do get the occasional leg cramp; I suspect from maybe wearing the wrong shoes and overtaxing the calf. I don’t even know what those active ingredients are, so I’m cautiously curious.
  6. I say go to the paint store you’ve been using and pick out a yellow that appeals to you, then paint your kitchen that color. It will look pretty with the blue cabinets and you like yellow. I wouldn’t worry about cool, warm, whatever.
  7. I think it sounds fun, I just don’t like any of the 4 artists enough to vote lol.
  8. Thanks for the tip! When I say “fresh ground”, I’m more like “fresh ground this week-level.” 😂
  9. What do you guys think about the reusable filters? Are they a pain to clean? One of the things that’s driving me batty with the French press is how messy clean-up is!
  10. I was actually just measuring water to check on this because I noticed the “5-cup” one linked above had 25 ounces marked on it. And I was like 8x5 isn’t 25 😂 I’m guessing “cup” for coffee makers is like the traditional small cup people use for coffee (not the common mugs I see more often)
  11. I have decided that I need a drip coffee maker. My only main requirements are that it can be programmed to start at a certain time, and that it’s not super expensive. Good and cheap is even better. 😁 More info for those still interested…I’ve had a keurig for donkey’s years. I also have a French press. I have a grinder. I really want my fresh grounds, but I’m SO tired of messing with the French press. Also, guests don’t know how to use it. So, I *think* I can still get great coffee with fresh grounds and a drip maker. (Right??) Also, I’m the only coffee drinker in my home so I don’t need a huge 14-cup one, but also I don’t feel like a 5-cup will brew as well (or accommodate for the occasional guest). Links are awesome!
  12. My first thought was panties 😂 But after seeing other people’s responses, I’m going with any underclothing or swimsuits. Shoes kind of ick me out, too. I buy clothes happily. I’d have to be really convinced upholstered furniture was clean or i knew the seller or something, and even then I’d be pretty cautious. I bought a couch I was so excited about several years ago, but I think that was before the hive made me aware of bed bugs 🤣
  13. I don’t have videos, but I think the first photo with the gold looks lovely! I’d keep doing what you’re doing and see how it looks all finished. The last one works too with the red, but the first one with just gold is my favorite.
  14. @Spryte That is such a sweet story. Thank you so much for sharing. I bet that mom had wanted Christmas dishes forever and never could afford them or justify the purchase or whatever. What a sweet and kind thing you did!🩷
  15. I think I’m one of the few people who doesn’t really care for the Spode Christmas dishes…
  16. I love the holly and berry noritake. I was actually looking at it earlier for no particular reason other than perusing christmas dishes online lol.
  17. Not selfish. Another vote for DN sitting by you. Or whatever, but you keeping your seat.
  18. Breakfast burritos are always the correct answer. 😁 My favorite version is scrambled eggs, roasted sweet potatoes, black beans, and a bit of cheese. Roll them up in foil and they’ll stay warm for however long needed before he decides to eat them. They’re just fine room temp too. You can’t go wrong.
  19. Coleslaw. This is a traditional thanksgiving food from my DH’s FOO, which to this day I think is weird, yet still make. 😂
  20. @TechWife Did you decide on the red dot dishes yet?
  21. Same. I had no idea and had wanted a kitchen aid mixer for YEARS when I finally bought one in 20219-2020ish. I use it about once every 6 months to make a loaf of bread, which ironically is from an America’s Test Kitchen cookbook. I guess I will continue to do so and if it breaks, well, I probably won’t buy a new one of ANY brand for that twice a year bread. 🙄
  22. That is beautiful! While you’re there, you might as well throw these in your cart, too. 😁
