Yes, they run small! My DH and kids all wear at least 1/2 size bigger in Nike, no matter which style. And they all consistently wear Nike. I made the mistake of getting my normal size and have regretted it ever since, especially since I don’t wear mine out nearly as quickly as they do.

If you want to start with simple, but good, skin care, I’d recommend CeraVe. Get the Foaming Facial Wash and the PM Night Lotion. It will be moisturing but still ok for oily skin. Like a PP, I would also recommend getting an RX for some form of Retin A. It’s good stuff, and another easy way to up your skincare game. :) I don’t have a rec for make-up though, other than going to a place that can help tailor it to your needs. I will say that going to a Sephora or Ulta means they can help you with a wide range of available brands, whereas going to Dillard’s (or similar) will probably get you makeup from just whichever counter you go to.

Yes, lightly padded. So there’s protection against bumping, tossing in the car, etc. Obviously, not like a hardcover, but quite good with a little care. They’re slim, lightweight, and hands-free. I had one as a teen and loved it! They’re called gig bags.

I would go with the pioneer woman baked Mac n cheese. It’s pretty much what you think of when you think baked Mac n cheese...nothing weird, nothing fancy, but good, ‘normal’ baked Mac n ch. (And definitely hand grate your cheese)

One year I got my DC a mixed media sketch book (mid-size 5x7-ish) from Hobby Lobby. I gave them a nice sketch pencil, colored pencils, nice eraser, and black sharpie with it. Then I gave them access to ArtForKidsHub.com. They still have many great art pieces in that sketch book, when normally the art would’ve gotten scattered and lost. :)

We vaccinate everyone in the family. My reason to even begin getting the shot was when my 2.5 year old (only child at the time) got the flu. It was terrible. That’s when I decided that we should all get the shot the next year and have ever since. One year, my 1.5 year old got the flu (different strain) even though he had gotten the shot. It was even more awful than with my first! So we tolerate the soreness to avoid the weeks of misery (hopefully). Your youngers may experience less noticeable soreness because it will probably be given in the leg. I always think that’s better than the arm. Our soreness is quite noticeable for a day, but we can still do normal activities.

I was going to say Flonase as well. Also, definitely sleep propped up on a couple of pillows. If your nose is stuffy, I like to boil a pan of water, put a drop of peppermint oil in (if you have any, if not it still works well), put the pot on the kitchen table, and put a bath towel over my head and the pot while inhaling the steam. This is good especially before bedtime. If the drainage causes you to cough at night, NyQuil works for me better than anything else. Hope you feel better soon!

Also, breed matters with the heat restrictions. Short snout dogs can not tolerate heat very well at all...boxers, pugs, etc.
