  1. That’s a good back up idea. He hasn’t had any in a long time, so he’d probably like that. Thanks!
  2. Oh, I’m a BIG fan of Amazon lol. But my (quick) search on Amazon didn’t yield great results...either huge $12 packs, or poor reviews, or 2 sheets for $5. I thought ‘well, surely I can just buy a couple of sticker sheets locally’, but maybe not lol
  3. I checked Walmart last week, but I only looked at the stickers at the end of the card aisle. I’ll check the party favor aisle and see if I have any luck. I don’t think our town has a teacher supply store, but I will check. I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for the ideas...keep ‘em coming! :) Just as an aside, I LOVED scratch and sniff stickers as a child and can’t believe how hard it is to find them! I have one DS who would love them. He uses stickers to mark off each step on his All About Spelling chart. :)
  4. Does anyone know a B&M store where I could buy these? Does Michael’s or Hobby Lobby carry them?
  5. Deck the Halls, We’re Off The Walls maybe? It’s just an easy, fun type of book. Definitely not brilliant literature. :) My DS (dyslexic) 9YO just found this book at B&N and read it this week. He really enjoyed it. (He just finished the High Noon Tom & Ricky Mysteries and another HN set called Secret Spies before getting this book). 6. Same here. I got two boxes this week, neither with a packing slip.
  7. I’ll look into these too. Thank you for the suggestions!
  8. That’s great info to know about the book. Thank you! For the most part, I feel like I’ve set the boundary and have gotten that part down, it’s the fallout from doing that action that I’m needing guidance on. :(
  9. That’s helpful info...thank you. Focusing on ‘my stuff’ sounds nice.:)
  10. I searched old threads and saw the recommendation for the book Boundaries. I can’t tell though if this is the one I need for my specific ‘boundary’ problem. Could you all help? My boundary problem is that I’ve set boundaries with a sibling (NPD/BPD/threatening/rage, etc—we’re both in our 40s) and our parent not wanting or understanding the need AT ALL. And also being completely unable to set boundaries herself, even when she sees the need. (Meaning she doesn’t understand why *I* have boundaries and doesn’t like it) Is this the book I want? Or is there a better one for this type of boundary? Thank you all so much. I’ll be placing my Amazon order tonight probably, as I need guidance ASAP. ETA: clarity
  11. Wow...half and half?! That does sound decadent! Yum!
  12. I don’t know! I’m not familiar with anise, but this drink does sound yummy!
  13. Is that cocoa powder a certain *kind* or certain brand? Where did you buy it? I’ll definiteky check out the one on the Hershey’s can. Thanks!
  14. Does anyone have an awesome hot chocolate recipe? One that’s delicious and fool-proof? With actual chocolate and milk maybe? Also, I have one DC who would probably like hot vanilla. So I’ll take that recipe too if you have one. :) Thanks!
  15. That’s great to hear about Chewy. Thank you for sharing! I just started ordering my dogs’ food from there on autoship about 3 months ago. Now I feel even happier about choosing them! :)
  16. Yes, they run small! My DH and kids all wear at least 1/2 size bigger in Nike, no matter which style. And they all consistently wear Nike. I made the mistake of getting my normal size and have regretted it ever since, especially since I don’t wear mine out nearly as quickly as they do.
  17. If you want to start with simple, but good, skin care, I’d recommend CeraVe. Get the Foaming Facial Wash and the PM Night Lotion. It will be moisturing but still ok for oily skin. Like a PP, I would also recommend getting an RX for some form of Retin A. It’s good stuff, and another easy way to up your skincare game. :) I don’t have a rec for make-up though, other than going to a place that can help tailor it to your needs. I will say that going to a Sephora or Ulta means they can help you with a wide range of available brands, whereas going to Dillard’s (or similar) will probably get you makeup from just whichever counter you go to.
  18. You could order from the LEGO shop online and get free shipping. That’s what I did for my minifigs packs this year. :)
  19. Do you have a recipe for your turkey pot pie you could share? I’d love a recipe that uses biscuits instead of pie crust. We don’t need gf, but I prefer biscuits over crust. Thanks for the idea to use up my leftover turkey!
  20. If you have an Ulta, they have their 5 for $5...little things like nail files, pencil sharpeners, etc. They also have a neat hair care samples box for only $9.99.
  21. YES, WAIT!!! You can hear its sounds and cues during hatching, so you need to be able to hear it and pay attention. It would be MUCH better done with just her at home.
  22. I’d go with a butterfly bandaid, pulled together over the cut and then restrict movement of the area for a good day or so. I’d maybe try the glue, not sure about that one though. Hope he gets well soon!
  23. Yes, lightly padded. So there’s protection against bumping, tossing in the car, etc. Obviously, not like a hardcover, but quite good with a little care. They’re slim, lightweight, and hands-free. I had one as a teen and loved it! They’re called gig bags.
  24. Softcover case for his trumpet (slings over the shoulder, so hands free) Nice compass Wallet Cologne Satchel
