  14. My son knows the concepts at 11 years and is doing 7'th grade math. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I had to move back and forth between two schools, his academics were ignored for 2 years and now he has challenges on his curriculum. Specifically he struggles with word problems. I see singapore challenging word problems end at 6'th grade. Is there anything similar for 7'th grade?
  15. My son has been selected for the magnet and GT programs. However his assessments are all over the place. He gets 50% at times and 80% at others. He has unpredictable patterns. I need to build up his math sense. He is a 10 year old, past the age to do Singapore math or Beast Academy books, as his curriculum is above those. What would be good books to build up math sense?
  16. 7'th grader gets A on Viola but wants to be at the advanced levels. Most of her peers have tutors, I cannot afford one currently. She practices for 1-2 hours a day. Wanted to get suggestions on how she can get to advanced levels by self learning? She was told by her school music teacher that she is good enough, but the higher classes are currently full and have no slot. Suggested she keep practicing and she may be moved up next year. She moved in from another middle school. So she is looking for some good content, to improve on her own.
