  1. Hi all My other half has an interview this weekend for a job in Sasketchwan (I'm hoping near Regina but can't be sure). I've been looking for support forums/groups but am not having much luck. Are there any members here who are living in the province of know of an online group where I can start networking?
  2. I'm so sorry to hear this. As a photographer I understand the need to protect one's business (you wouldn't believe the amount of people who believe it's perfectly fine to lift one of my digital proofs and start sending copies to Uncle Joe and Aunt Jane in Somewhereville) but copyright trolling is ugly, vile and downright wrong. I hope you are able to hit the money-grabbing classless invividuals where it hurts.
  3. My 9 year old is like this. We've only been home educating for 8 weeks and it's very quickly devolved into what you describe. Running through the list of things I was thinking about I can see most has already been covered. I do have one suggestion but I want to add the caveat that I'm not an advocate of labelling unless it's helpful. Have you thought of looking at PDA? If your daughter is like this over every demand (or perceived demand) that's made of her outside of education as well as during then it might be worth at least reading about.
  4. Does anyone know where to get reams of the paper suggested in the WTM book here in the UK? So far googling and Amazon are only turning up very expensive exercise books....
  5. Parent' who have used the programmes; are the workbooks essential to buy alongside the instructor manuals?
  6. Thank you, mum! I was about to just order it all through Amazon (city library sadly lacking) but will go check out those suggestions.
  7. I've just started following WTM and am wondering if there are any resource lists out there specifically adapted for children living in Great Britain?
