  1. We use T4L and beestar English program. T4L is for workday study. Beestar offers 2 worksheets weekly. So DD uses it to review lessons at the weekend. Lisa
  2. I'm with ocelotmom. DD also enjoys beestar worksheets. My opinion trends towards using both of them... Lisa
  3. Dose your daughter like online learning? My daughter is now using beestar science. The exercise cover many aspects. She answers the questions on her own and enjoys appearing on the honor roll. Hope this helps! Lisa
  4. Have a try with online reading. My daughter supports it. I found this site beestar reading for her, full of Great stories and and vivid pictures. There are ribbons for kids There are the medals and trophies and honor roll that the child can aspire to acheive every week. Lisa
  5. Based on curriculum, I think that all the contents of these programs are similar... DD's teacher send us to this site beestar for math. It's free. DD enjoys it and has been using it. As long as kids understand the concepts and want to learn, these programs will work well. Lisa
  6. I sent DD to kumon for help when she's struggling in elementary school. It helped tremendously. However, I think it helped because it forced kids to actually do their homework. It's a pity that DD can't bear the heavy work. Then we switch to this site beestar. It's teacher recommended, full of all real life word problems, challenging stuff to help her thinking. Plus, math is free, saving lot's of $$... Lisa
  7. Have no experience with IXL. I heard from friends that it provides online practice by grade. DD likes beestar for math. It also offers online worksheets, which can also be downloaded. DD said the 10 quick question worksheets are challenging. She loves to compete on this site with other kids from a lot of other states. Lisa
  8. Plus, I also heard of this writing pro I Can Read, but didn't use it. No harm to have a look  Lisa
  9. Maybe you want to have a try with beestar writing program. Exercises are short so kids are more willing to do the work, intersting stories and cute pictures. It costs $20-$30 per semester. Lisa
  10. It's lovely that kids stay at home reading and playing. If it's a snowy day, maybe we will make a snowman  Lisa
  11. Hi Tabrett. We are now trying beestar reading pro. Many PDF downloads full of cute stories and vivid pictures for test and exam papers with answers etc. It covers g1 to g12. Lisa
