  1. I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending hugs and prayers.
  2. The Christmas Chronicles 1 and 2 starring Kurt Russell.
  3. I hear ya. I felt that way with WWE as well.
  4. Back in April, I was exposed to someone with Covid on a Friday. Showed symptoms on Sunday. In September, my son was exposed to someone with Covid on a Thursday and we had symptoms Sunday. This person also had positive tests after she had no more symptoms.
  5. It depends on what you want out of the co-op. I can definitely relate. My kids were in one when they were elementary aged. It did take a lot of time. Not sure if I regret it. They were not in a co-op during the pandemic and for a couple of years after that. We did get a lot done! My kids are in one this school year. It's beneficial because my older two kids get the lab portion done there (for cheap!) and my oldest and youngest made friends there. So, I see it as beneficial at this stage in their lives.
  6. Hi Mom28kids, have you guys done physics yet? I’m looking into it. Thanks.
  7. So sorry for your loss. Praying for peace and comfort for you and your family.
  8. Hi, Can you expand a little bit more on how your son did this? What is physics prep course? and how does one audit an AP course? Thanks!
  9. Sounds like the same conversation I had with my dh. Except it was about swimming. Is Physics getting done? 😃
  10. I would get his vision checked out. I believe people call it COVD? I could be wrong though. just for reference, my kids are in vision therapy. It kind of just fell into place with kids. They didn’t do a COVD testing. It also sounds like he has dyslexia. At sixth , he should be reading better. your instinct is correct in my opinion. Hth
  11. I just want to confirm that all of AoPS Geometry and up online classes are text based, correct? Meaning we don't see the teacher doing examples on a whiteboard. Thanks.

Just fyi, this thread has been reported 3 times.
  13. Hello, As a moderator, I get fun job of deciding what is political and what is not. This thread has been reported. I will most likely be deleting and making edits from time to time. I won’t have time to go through the whole thread in one setting, so please don’t be offended if I edit or delete your post while someone else’s is still there down thread. Most likely I couldn’t get around to it or just forgot about the thread until it gets reported again. If you have an issue with my editing, please take it to Susan. I barely have time to edit much less discuss why I edited your post. My heart goes out to everyone involved. And I do see the need to discuss these atrocities, but please leave the politics out. Thanks and hugs to everyone.
  14. I thought she meant premade food as in a whole package packed with chopped vegetables and meat. Packed with organic or with food that doesn’t have those chemicals in them. Not really sure what she meant.
  15. Where do you find natural foods that are premade? Trader Joes? Whole Foods?
  16. Hi, I used FLL when my children were 5. It's very gentle. We did it orally. We skipped some pages that I felt were redundant because my kids are gifted as well. Michael Clay Thompson has a series. I loved the grammar series. It's also beautifully done. The Language Mechanics from the Critical Thinking Company (grades 4 - 7) provides one with a reason why something is done. I thought that was neat. I always misplaced the book, so none of my kids ever completed it.
  17. I agree with Murphy. mine also needed an ice pack every now and then. Depends on the child’s comfort level. If I remember correctly, mine drank milkshakes or smoothies the first day. They ate eggs and instant mash potatoes after a day or two. Perhaps masks? My daughter wore a mask to hide her puffy cheeks. 😂
