  4. Yeah, I'm with RubyPenn. My kids never had that particular class, but my daughter had such a great experience last year that I put her in two classes this year and my son as well. And we are not Catholic!

  8. Congratulations! I pray the transition goes smoothly for you!
  9. I learned by playing. It's real easy to pick up. It's been a few years, but I think you are given some tiles and have to match 3 or 4 (or perhaps both?) same tiles or consecutive tiles. Lay them out as you get them. Grab a tile and throw one out. We played casually. Perhaps your current library will have something?
  10. Praying for quick results and strength! I pray you feel better soon. Sending hiugs.
  11. We are in the same boat. I mask indoors (and sometimes outdoors) for others. Others who have comorbidities.
  12. If it was up to my son, I would try woot again. Perhaps he was too young the first time around for the trial and error technique? And may be ok with it now. sounds like you guys need to make a decision on whether or not he will be homeschooling for next couple of years. That would determine the way. another option is to start community college as well. Might as well get the credit. 😃 congratulations to him doing a great job so far! hth

For the fall, I enrolled my son in schole’s (classical academic press) high school physics algebra based. They have calculus based too. I like Athena’s advanced academy. 16. This is the only warning this thread will get. Let's be civil to one another.
  17. I’m so sorry. I hope you feel better. Thanks for getting the word out.
  18. This is just me, but phonics, writing and math builds each year. I don’t want my child to skip a year. Just my 2 cents.
  19. From my experience (just previewing), the levels build upon each other. it also depends on where your child is at. you could go through it quickly because often times the child has learned to he skill in other programs. For example, my oldest was in 7th grade last year, but we worked through it quickly. I had to preview ahead and see which days he could skip and which I could combine.
  20. It’s not a full curriculum. It’s like watching bill nye the science guy. We have enjoyed the science videos. Unfortunately, we haven’t had a chance to watch the math videos.
