  1. I am thinking of purchasing a Christmas present from them and just wanted to know if antoone had any experience buying from them. Thanks Jenn
  2. My 9yo ds would say Legoland. I would absolutely love to go too. :tongue_smilie: I'll have to ask my CA friend tomorrow night and let you know.
  3. The Five People You Meet in Heaven Anything by Charles Martin especially the Maggie books Of Mice and Men The Outsiders I don't really care for Sci fi but love historical fiction. The ones I listed were just ones that hadn't been mentioned. My hubby and dd loved the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson. Hubby is reading the Space trilogy by C.S. Lewis now and says it's good! :bigear:
  4. BTW........I now have FIFTY POSTS!!!!! Although, I've hung out here since we used to flip the boards, I am just now acheiving this goal!:D
  5. 6:41 a.m. here in GA and I have yet to go to sleep! The grizzly bear beside me, on the other hand, is sleeping just fine!!!:glare: Hopefully, I can catch a power nap soon! BTW, sometimes adult conversation is not all it's cracked up to be! ;)
  6. The Pre-Alg text is written by a different author than the Alg. 1 & 2 so that might make a big difference. I have the Alg. 1 & 2 sets for sale if you are interested. They are the custom CD version with the COMPLETE solutions guide vhs for both in CD packaging and new dvds for both through Houghton Mifflin....same as the vhs just bought through the publisher.....exactly the same. Please pm me if you are interested. Thank you and Blessings, Jennifer
  7. Nothing can ever beat homemade peach ice cream!!! To bad it can't be bought or I would be twice as big as I am right now! :tongue_smilie:That probably should say Thank goodness it can't be bought!!!!
  8. My grandfather could not have morphine! He even walked out of the hospital when he had staph because the morphine made him so crazy! When I got off the elevator to go see him I could hear him at the other end of the hall screaming "The b**** is going to shoot me!" Needless to say he was thinking about the female security guard who had put him on the ground in cuffs because she did not realize what was going on! Pain meds can make you do all kinds of crazy things! Hope he gets better, it is so hard to see a loved one like that! Blessings~ Jennifer:grouphug:
  9. I think they flow fine! I like Ruth, well Ruthie better, but it's not my baby! I love the name Esther! I had a dear friend named Esther who went to be with our Lord two yrs ago after a brave and hard fight with breast cancer. She was a wonderful, godly, homeschooling mother. I wish I could be just half the woman she was! Wonderful names and I'm sure this child will be blessed no matter what you decide to name her!
  10. In some ways I miss the old boards and flipping them.....we had SOOOO much fun!
  11. yes, I remember that! Several times I got to be first due to my insomnia! BTW, I still have insomnia! I am trying to get my 50...I like to read everyone else's post more than writing my own!:001_smile:
  12. Working on my 50 so I can get some of this curriculum out of my house!!! I don't know who the curriculum junkie is around here but they need to get some help and stop the buying! :glare: :tongue_smilie:
  13. Bethany, My hubby had a dry socket and although it was painful before he called the dentist and went back it was not so bad after. The dentist told us to go to the pharmacy and get oil of clove and soak a tiny piece of cotton ball with it and pack the hole...........he said it tasted awful when he got it on his tongue but worked miracles. It was all better in about 3 days! Call your dentist, your fix might be something very simple and hopefully painfree.....saying prayers for you! Blessings, Jennifer
