  1. I don't see them on my android either. I only see them when I'm on my laptop or PC.
  2. If you go to Account Settings, pick "signature" from the list on the left and see if you have them turned on. You'll see "View signatures?" with an option to turn them off or on.
  3. Thank you for sharing. Yes, thankful for a doctor who is taking me and my symptoms seriously. I joined a Facebook group and asked, and you can have no skin issues but mostly lung and other organ issues. It's called sine scleroderma. I guess kidneys are something to especially look at as well. I have a cardiogram recently (POTS protocol), and everything looked great. So that's good news.
  4. Oh, dear. I did not realize that specific antibody test was related to lungs. Well that makes sense. We've been trying to find out the reason for my breathlessness and huffing and puffing during and out if breath for several minutes still after going up stairs. Oh, gosh. Thanks for the great and unfortunately btdt advice. ❤️
  5. I don't know yet. My doctor uploaded test results online and sent me a message with a bit of info and set up a telehealth appt. Thanks for the good info❤️
  6. Thank you. You've got many challenges. 😔 Just my regular doctor ran tests, but she's good about referring when needed. I'm expecting to see a rheumatologist soon. I'll have a telehealth soon with my GP to go over test results in more detail. After looking at pics online, I'm wondering about all these white spots on my arms. Is this normal? Lighting is horrible, but you can get the gist. Some are larger than others. White spots are lighter than skin and of course freckles.
  7. Does anyone have this? I tested positive for the scl 70 antibodies, which is a scleroderma diagnosis. I don't have any typical symptoms though. Doctor is concerned about lung scarring because of my breathlessness though and is ordering imaging. I'm seriously confused. I am not surprised there is something autoimmune going on though. My ana was positive, homogeneous, and 1:160. That's high from what I understand.
  8. I just recently tested positive for heterogeneous MTHFR C677t, which is a 35% reduction in enzyme activity. I'm starting on a certain protocol (already feeling better) that I've read about from several sources but am still researching as well. Thank you! Note: The infographic is not for pregnancy, but for general health maintenance when you're not TTC or pregnant when needs increase. Just the best thing I could find to share the info. I'm doing the "low risk" supps minus the tmg- still looking into that. Have not tested for homocysteine levels yet! Edit: by the way, these are the nutrients MTHFR people need to get their body methylating well again, from what I understand. MTHFR does not effect just folate absorption, but B12, B6, B2 and more!
  9. Hanging on the mail holder/key rack thingy.😬
  10. I read it was Gayle King's home. She's Oprah's BFF.
  11. Oh, I just came across another prescription supplement prescribed for mood disorders w/fascinating online reviews.
  12. I have a son with depression. Thankfully his doctor is holistic, so although he is being treated successfully for depression with a 5htp and ashwagandha combo, we are also working on finding root causes. DS ran out of the above supplements unbeknownst to me and came to me recently and asked me to purchase more because he's been feeling sad and struggling with depression again. This was about 5 days post running out of his supplements. I would suggest that you have your doctor do a MTHFR test on your DS because if he has a genetic mutation, a good b complex can make a huge difference for mental health. A poster here just shared on another topic that her son's psych ran a MTHFR test that was positive and that supplementing is helping. Bravo to that doctor. What we've just started doing is a carefully orchestrated supplement regime to see if DS can successfully wean of meds (though absolutely no biggie if not and he continues to need them) is: Triple strength fish oil Metabolically active B complex or multivitamin with metabolically active Bs 400-600 mg highly absorbable magnesium 10,000 IU Vitamin D 100-200 mg Vitamin K2 if not in multi (the above multi has K2) I'm on a similar regime. We shall see how it helps. DS and I are feeling really great on this both physically and mentally, but it's early days and we haven't tried any weaning off of meds.
  13. That's wonderful your son is feeling better! That supplement looks great. If you're interested, the B minus product without folate and B12 would compliment your son's supplement. https://www.seekinghealth.com/products/b-minus-100-capsules No, I am not affiliated with this company. Lol. Just thankful they are providing products that fill a gap and need in the MTHFR community.
  14. Here's a great article about starting low and slow and the reasons why people react to methyl sources. https://www.anabundantlife.com.au/methylfolate-feel-bad/
  15. Not OP, but yes, most just pass through except B12 is stored in the liver. I react really, really badly to the methyl sources too but am doing okay with tiny, teeny doses in Smarty-pants prenatal. I ordered another methyl-free prenatal with the adeno and hdroxy B12 and folinic acid MTHFR-friendly sources instead. The company is also coming out with a methyl-free B complex soon. https://www.seekinghealth.com/products/b-complex-plus-methyl-free-100-capsules They also have a b complex with no folate or B12 because those two can be added separately and slowly worked up to ideal doses. https://www.seekinghealth.com/products/b-minus-100-capsules All of their vitamins have the active and most bioavailable sources. My research is showing it's best to do methyl sources if possible (no conversions required, completely absorbed and used by the body), but the other sources are available for those who just can't yet.
  16. I'm waiting for my MTHFR test results but just want to add that a good vitamin will also have the most active form Riboflavin 5- phosphate (rather than just riboflavin) that's best for MTHFR. From my reading, B2 is super important, even critical, even though it's often overlooked. https://www.seekinghealth.com/collections/dirty-genes-mthfr-support I have my family (MTHFR is often passed from parent to child) taking this until I get my results back, but the most active forms of b vitamins are great for everyone not just MTHFR people. We'll probably continue to take them regardless of mutation results. https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Factors-Active-Complex-Capsules/dp/B0716JX1HF/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=natural+factors+b+complex+active&qid=1614633963&sr=8-3 There are a few good multivitamins as well with the active B sources. I just ordered DH and and I a prenatal because it had the doses I prefer, which are not too low or not too high.
  17. Hi, joining in. Treadmill w/12 incline at 2 mph for 35 minutes, burned 300 calories. Heart rate stayed high in fat burning zone, good sweating.
  18. Yes! My English mother-in-law makes the *most* delicious crepes with lemon juice and sugar sprinkled on top. Most of us tend to douse them with the lemon juice. Some whipped cream if you have it. I've never heard of the lemon and sugar combo on pancakes though. We will have to try that as well.
  19. On a good note though, I found a new face wash that I absolutely love. My Nuetrogena Ultra Gentle foaming was leaving my face just a bit tighter than I wanted after using it now that I'm doing retin a pretty regularly. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cleansing Lotion for Sensitive Skin (fragrance free version and lotion not gel!) actually cleans but leaves my skin feeling soft and more moist. It feels so good using it and like it should cost more too. Every thing breaks me out, but this is fine!
  20. It's a no for me. 😬 Elta is still the only tinted sunscreen that doesn't look awful if I use the correct amount of 1/4 tsp for face or 1/2 tsp for face and neck . I looked like a carrot with the CeraVe. It was bad. It also just felt gross using what you should, which is more than you would for say a BB cream. Thick and doesn't sink into skin but just sits there and gets wiped off if I accidentally brush again something. Lol.
  21. What product does her derm have her on?
  22. I think it's pretty cool that you can customize the tretinoin too. It looks like I'd need drop down to 2 or move up to 3. I'll have to think about that. I was just watching a video of a YouTuber using just .02 Curology and only 3 nights a week. In a year she's had some great results. Hm.
  23. I would really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thank you! I've never heard of azelaic acid or clindamycin and will do some research. I'm pretty happy with my prescription strength. I can do the .05 just fine (thick, oily skin) but prefer to stay with the .025.
  24. How much are you paying for your Curology with Tretinion? What is the base like compared to prescription cream base? What is the packaging like? Is it a tube? Thinking of switching. Thank you!
