  1. Thanks, I guess I feel like he just wasn't into Singapore. Not that he hated it, but it wasn't much fun...that's why I was thinking of switching.
  2. We like to watch Bizarre Foods, we learn so much! We are also watching the America's Cup, because my eight year old really got into sailing this summer. How about Liberty Kids?
  3. Hi! (Just lost my first, long post, ugh!) I'm new to homeschooling, we are starting in a couple of weeks after a few boring years of public school with the third grader. The three year old will be tagging along, doing phonics and calendar time type activities. I was planning to "wing it" with unschooling, but panicked last week and ordered the konos explorers and volume 1. I like that it is child led and seems like it will ignite him. I'm a little worried that it is teacher/parent intensive. Last year I supplemented ps math with Singapore, but it was just too much, so we have half of that to finish up, but its mostly review. Husband wants me to just use that, but something calls in me to do more. Because of the prep involved with Konos, I don't want to overwhelm myself in the first year (weeks!). So, for math, I think I've narrowed it down to Christian Light or Math U See. CLE seems like it is pretty self directed, needing me only for questions and clarifications. But, MUS looks more fun and like it has great retention. (Many Konos users use MUS). I would love any insight!
