      It is! But a lot of random gathering of materials depending on how many kids are participating. :)

      We are using it for a group of 9-13 year olds. I think we will have 8 kids in the group. The class doesn't start until end of January so I have some time to gather supplies.

    It's been two weeks since we started hs, so I asked my children what they thought of it. My ds said he thought it would be harder. I guess I need to do some tweaking!

    We had our first day of HS Coop today. The kids had a great time!

    I finally committed to a spelling program. I over think things way too much!

    The Children's Librarian at my local library just asked me for suggestions for a homeschool book section they want to create. For a moment my mouth just hung open like a fish.... there was a traffic jam in my brain!

      THat is awesome! Ours doesnt have a dedicated section but it does have tons of resources. I currently have SOTW on audio disc checked out.

      Our local library had a binder that could be checked out which was like homeschooling 101 and had specific info explaining the laws, complete with sample withdrawal and letters of intent. It was incredibly helpful to a newbie!

      I'm not sure what they ended up ordering but I'm hopeful they ordered some of the books on my wishlist ;) As a newbie the thought of choosing and then buying curriculum that we might not like is very stressful!

    Summer Road Trip 2013 is almost over, time to drive back home and start school. I think we have had enough of vacation and we are ready for school :)

    If my kids were in PS, today would be their first day. Instead we are halfway across the country visiting the Mayflower II and Plimouth Plantation.

      Awesome! Homeschooling win! We are planning to do the overnight stay on the Mayflower II at some point.
