  1. I do not believe kids have to go through such stuff to become stronger and it certainly doesn't have to be any part of childhood. I am not saying anything different than what many have said here, just that it is the opinion of the adults who post such stuff. Have faith in the way you bring up your kids and no one's opinions need bother you. Not responding to create more controversies is the best way to deal with this.
  2. I also agree that the price seems too high. Also for me, the size of the plastic trays wont work. Depends on what kind of stuff one is going to put in there. Deciding what you need to use the trays for and then measuring out the required sizes should be a good idea. I hope you find something that works well for you. Keep us posted on what you finally decide.
  3. Makes no sense breaking your relationship with your friend by snapping at her, does it Jean? Harsh words can't be taken back. This is how she is. If you call her your 'friend' then I think friendship is all about accepting the other the way he or she is. I am glad you didn't snap at her and say 'yes' when she asked you if she was being pushy. It would have been too easy to do that but you'd have lost a friend probably. Maybe she means good for you. Let her be. Do what you think is right for you. She will get the point eventually.
  4. You sure are going to a lot. Know that your and your family are always there in my prayers. Good to know that the doc thinks it's a minor skin issue. Please do keep us posted about his progress. God bless your little boy.
  5. Being a mommy is tough indeed, especially when we have to make some tough decisions. As a mom you will always make the best decision for your kids, no doubt about that. Believe in your decisions and feel no guilt. After all you want the best for your kids.I think that is why God has made women so strong.
  6. I would give a 5 on the rating scale. There is no performance report weekly, but its just once a month during school meetings and the open house event.
  7. Thank you greatly for delivering a lot of very helpful information and facts. I would like to thank you on behalf of my sis, for the efforts you had made for responding. I'll definitely convey these details to my sister and I am sure she'll be happy to hear this.
  8. One of my sister's sons is differently abled. Hes a downs. He often sits with the piano pressing the keys randomly. My question is will he be able to learn piano ? Has anyone seen a downs child play a piano ? Please help...
  9. I do trust all the ideas you’ve offered for your post. They’re very convincing and can definitely work. I've gone through each post and found to be contributing to this thread in their own little way,,,
  10. Its best to check out the law of the area place where where you stay and use the ID which will save you a lot of discomfort...
  11. I too have a similar problem, but mine is a 13yo daughter. She seems to have lost interest in studies altogether, while she was a bright student otherwise.
  12. Nothing can substitute practice. So get him cursive handwriting workbook and make him write at least 3-4 pages daily. At least thats what I did to improve my children's handwriting. And they have been appreciated in school for their writing.
  13. What if she didn't fare well coz she had flu and that may be coz shes a year young for her grade... Give her some time...
