  1. Thanks a lot for your help!!! Only email is enough? That's great! Avoid a lots of hassle. :hurray:
  2. Thanks a lot for everyone's response. The problem for Amazon or eBay is that you have to wait for the ones you want. I found VW has different prints and different versions. To Arcadia: How to register as homeschool account? I went to their website. There are only 2 choices: school or individual. When you register as homeschool, what document do you need to provide them? Thanks.
  3. I tried WW3K for my DS. He hates it. I recently found people talked about VW so I would like to give it a try. To my surprise, there is nowhere to buy it except for their official website. More ridiculous thing is the answer keys are in the teacher's edition which needs institution account. I would like to know how you people get it. Thanks a lot for your help!!!
  4. I am looking into Shurley English and would like to give it a try. I went to their website and did some research. Here is what I found: Shurley English has two different versions: school version vs. homeschool version. School version teacher's manual itself costs $225 and is color printed. Homeschool version costs $56 for a kit (teacher's manual + student workbook + CD) and is black & white. Right now they also offer digital version. Digital version is listed under both their school website and homeschool website. After looking at the TOC and contacted their customer service, it is confirmed that the two digital version are the same. That means, digital version is actually their print school version, even under homeschool webpage. When looked at their TOCs I found school version teacher's manual contains far more pages than homeschool version. Besides school version contains a student textbook that is not included in print version homeschool kit and it is not sold separately at homeschool website (you can only buy it from their school website for $59). Does anyone ever use Shurley English digital version? Is it good? TIA! P.S. here are the level 4 TOCs FYI: Homeschool digial edition teacher's maunal TOC: https://www.shurley.com/pdf/toc/Digital_Edition_Level_4.pdf Homeschool print edition teacher's maunal TOC: https://www.shurley.com/pdf/Homeschool/toc/level_4_table_of_contents.pdf
  5. When I clicked on the Admin's link, it says "Oops! That page can’t be found.". Can anyone fix the link? Thanks.
  6. Wish you posted this early. I already bought the book. I have a Kindle DX with a 9" screen. Have to agree with you, the font size is tiny. But when I printed it out, the font size is tiny also. Don't know about the real paperback book.
  7. Thanks a lot Purpleowl and Rach! I am planning to buy some FLL and WWE. My plan is put teacher's instruction books on Kindle so we can review them anywhere any time. Print out the workbook then take only those we needed. So no more multiple books. :)
  8. I am sorry for this question. I did search first but didn't find the answer. I am looking to buy some home school curriculum textbooks/workbooks. Since they are on sale right now I would like to give it a try. But my questions are: 1. Can you print them out at home? Or you can only browse the content on computer? I know some PDF is "secured" and they disabled certain functions so it is "read only". 2. Can you transfer the PDF file onto Kindle? We use Kindle a lot cause it saves space/weight and very convenient. Thanks a lot in advance! Liz
  9. Thanks a lot for the above response. At first I thought PSPS is more like a textbook, and CWP is the workbook. But when looked at contents closely, I found PSPS covers far less than CWP. This is very strange..
  10. I saw people mentioned Singapore Math Process Skills in Prob Solving. I went to their website did my research. From the sample pages, I found they are very similar to their Challenging Word Problems. So what is the difference? Can anyone help me? TIA!
