I think I am done. Now scheduling is whole another story 😩
  2. My DD is doing MM prealgebra now. She is almost done with it. Just have geometry and statistics to finish. I would say it is a very solid program. She was also able to do Aops prealgebra whenever I throw at her. MM preA is our spine though. I signed her up for Jocabs algebra through veristas press. I decided on Jacobs because she is on younger side ( 10 years old) and heard Jacobs is gentle. I have Forester Algebra for challenging word problems. To Sum it up, MM preA gets a big thumps upðŸ‘
  3. More than Lial's or Dolcani. AOPS is incomparable to any pre-A. But MM7 is a solid pre-A program and you cannot go wrong with it. And you can dive in Algebra 1 after that. I have lined up Jacobs Algebra 1 with Veristas press online for the coming year.
  4. More challenging than lial or Dolcani. Obviously less than Aops😉
  5. My Dd is working through MM7 as we speak. I would say it is challenging than Dolcani or Lial's. I own all of these books including Aops
  6. We finished MM 1-6 and doing a mish mash of MM7 and Aops pre algebra. But next year we are doing Jacobs Algebra. My DD loves AOPS but I don't ( it is visually distracting and too wordy for me). So she met me middle way in Jacobs. Maybe she will review wirh AOPS Algebra on the side while she does Geometry
  7. We are going to use it for the coming year. But we like silly😉

  10. Few of those too 😩 But we really like the way things are explained in the start and how the challenge level increases.
  11. Zacarro books explain the answers. My dd loves these books. She also likes CWP. If you are not comfortable with CWP I highly recommend process skills. They do a good job with explanation.
  12. MM 7 has really good word problems. We also do real world algebra by Zacarro and also CWP 5/6.

  19. Mine will be 10 in April. We did few Aops problems here and there. Mostly she is independent but I would like her to have someone else teach her. That's why I thought of WTMA. We plan to start algebra in August. Do you think this is doable? She does have very solid grasp of integers, rational numbers, ratios, percentage, decimal, metric and stuff.
