  1. They announced a while ago that this would be the final season. All of their schedules are just too demanding to keep it going.

Where did you see that? Because I know they have no plans in the near future for another season but in everything I've seen Steven and Mark have indicated that they would like to do more if they can.

  2. OT, but Circe is an interesting name choice for a homeschooling company. I just looked at their site and see that it's a acronym, but I really think someone was having fun when they put it together. A classical education person had to have known the connotations. lol

It is a funny story how it got named. Andrew Kern shared the story in one of his "Ask Andrew" podcasts on the Circe channel so I would recommend a listen!

  3. I expected it, because Mary dies at some point in the original stories. But I didn't expect it so soon. I thought maybe that would be how the season ended.

This is exactly what I was expecting.

I, too, liked seeing more of Mycroft. And I thought the episode was very different and I missed the typical wit, but I didn't disagree with the plot development. I'm not sure how John could have gotten away with the texting/emotional affair thing while being married to a former agent and having Sherlock as his best friend but I felt it made he and Mary more equal and I appreciated that he isn't shown to always be perfect.

I'm looking forward to the next two episodes!

  4. Praying for you and baby as you rest! We have very close due dates I think (I'm due the 4th) and I'm so sorry you're having these complications! All these baby issues here are making me nervous as well and I feel for all you mamas!

  5. We have Europe, Asia & the India/Switzerland expansions. It is a great game and we bought one as a gift during Target's 30% off sale for about $30 which is an awesome price!

As an aside the Indian board has some different rule options where they do not allow you to use the same routes many times and it really changes the whole game!

  6. My DH and I do stocking for each other. He grew up doing ONLY stockings and they would have to buy each other gifts that fit in the stockings. His parents did each other's like we do (and then the kids did as well when they got older). My family did stockings for the kids but I don't remember my parents doing them until we got older and now everyone in my family has a stocking (except for me since I'm the married one). DH and I agreed to keep gifts for each other exclusively to stockings this year to save some money. I've bought him: a cheese slicer, a backpacker magazine subscription, a t-shirt from Mental Floss, a chocolate orange, beef jerky and a couple jerky sticks from Trader Joe's and the game "No Thanks."

Our kids get a few snacks/candy (very few though as I don't like them having a ton), a Schleich animal and this year my son is getting some foam swords and my daughters, playsilks. They will each also receive a small container of cereal since they think cereal is amazing as we don't regularly buy it and a new toothbrush.
