  1. I'm so disappointed that the book descriptions are missing. Where is the fun in reading a catalog like that? What an enormous let down. :crying:
  2. Thanks for the bump. I am looking at starting at Y2, U4 at the Upper Grammar level. My dc love the revolutionary war and I thought they would like learning more about it while I learn to use the curriculum.
  3. Hi. I'm looking into TOG and I have found that I have several of the books used in the program, but nowhere near all of them. We don't have the best library so I could only get a few from there. Do I *need* all of the books or can I make substitutions? I'm a SL user and very used to having the proper books and checking the appropriate boxes so the "unknown" of TOG scares me. Please help me understand the *minimum* I need to purchase and then I can go from there. Thanks sooo much!
  4. Good point. Thanks to both of you. I suppose one can never have too much math even if it is review. Thanks again.
  5. We have a CC group nearby and I was curious about their program. I have researched it and it seems like a good program, however, we already have a math program that we like, (not Saxon) and a Latin program we like, (not Latin's Not So Tough) and dd has read all of the Literature selections for Challenge A already. If we opted out of Math and Latin, would there be any other benefits for her or should we just continue on with what we are doing? I like the idea of a group, but if we don't use the full program is it worth the money? Thanks for your input..
