  1. CBD basically reduces the 'firing rate of the synapses'. Which is why it is helpful to prevent seizures. Their have been a wide range of studies, into CBD and Anxiety. Which is referred to as its 'Anxiolytic Effect'. Which is mainly looking at mechanisms of how it actually effects anxiety? Though a major benefit of its use, is that it has very minor side effects. With ADHD, the 'reduction in synapse firing rate'. Would be more helpful to reduce Hyperactivity. Its effect on Attention, would be more indirect. With a reduction in Anxiety. Also with buying CBD, it is important for a company to provide a 'Certificate of Analysis'. From an independent laboratory. Which validates the quality and amount of CBD in their products. 2. Vehicles are now being stopped at Ceduna. On Monday they will consider whether to reopen the Eyre Highway, and the Coolgardie/ Esperance Highway?
  3. You could have her take a broad spectrum antibiotic, to identify whether it is being caused by a bacteria?
  4. An SNRI could be very helpful? Zoloft is an SSRI, which increases levels of Serotonin. With SNRI's, they increase levels of both Serotonin and Nor-Epinephrine. Epinephrine is actually Adrenaline, and Nor-Epinephrine is the Normal-Epinephrine/ Adrenaline This 'Normal Adrenaline', has an important role in motivation and getting us active. Which could be very relevant to your daughter? Though switching from an SSRI to and SNRI? Can use what is called: "Cross-Tapering'. With a gradual reduction in one, and a gradual increase of the other. https://www.berkeleywellness.com/healthy-mind/mood/article/switching-antidepressants-what-expect
  5. Your password, is quite probably the same as your 'microsoft account'. Such as for Outlook email, or Skype? If you have access to another computer? You can go to sign into your Microsoft account. But when it asks for your password? Click on Forgot Password, and ask it to send a verification message to your alternative email account. You can use the Verification Message, to change to a new password.
  6. Yes, juggling is the best thing. You can use small bean bags, that you could make yourself. Also just start with 1 bag, tossing it from hand to hand. Then add a second, and gradually increase the number.
  7. The human brain, can only immediately recognise a group of up to 4 objects. With 5 objects, it needs to divide them into groups and then add them together: 2+3 or 1 +4. The brain is actually a Base 5 System. Which recognises 5 as a single unit. It carries at 5, rather than 10. For children and adults who don't have this immediate physiacal recognition of 1 to 4? They actually have no concept of numbers and the quantity that they represent.
  8. If your son has Dyscalculia? Then it will be necessary to have formal recognition. So that he can make the transition from 'mental math'. To using a calculator. Though their is a basic test for Dyscalculia, which you could conduct yourself. Firstly, you could test yourself. It simply uses, 4 small objects. Perhaps coins for example, or marbles? It involves placing a random number of these small objects, in front of you. From 1 to 4 of them. Which someone else would do, without you looking. When they have placed them, you then look at them and state how many their are? Do this with different variations, of 1 to 4. But the important thing, is to observe how you define how many objects their are? Which you probably do instantly! You wouldn't need to count them, 1,2,3 etc. You would immediately recognise groups of 1, or 2, or 3, or 4. It is this ability to automatically recognise these different sized groups, from 1 to 4. That is termed as 'Sense of Number'. Babies are born with this ability, to recognise the difference between groups of 1 to 4. (Without knowing the names of each group.) Though with Dyscalculia, people don't have this ability to recognise these different sized groups. They can't concieve of them. Their is only 1, and more than 1. The concept of numbers is meaningless. So that it is pointless trying to get them to learn 'Mental Math'. But they can become proficient in Math, if they are allowed to learn to do it with a Calculator. So perhaps you could try that Test using some small objects, with your son? Observing whether he can instantly recognise these different sized groups? Or if he has to count the objects?
  9. One thing that I would ask? Is if you are a Nose Breather, or a Mouth Breather? Is your mouth closed, when you breathe?
  10. You really don't want to be anywhere near a shopping centre, on Christmas Eve! I imagine that you would catch a Taxi to get there? You would be lucky to find a Taxi, to leave the shopping centre. Most basics can be bought at gas stations, which could get you through to Boxing Day. When all of the shops will be open again.
  11. The health dept recommendation. Is 48 hours after the last vomiting or diarhea.
  12. Our body normally creates SamE, where it needs both B12 and Folate to make it. A deficiency in either B12 or Folate, will limit its production. So supplementing both of these, might be the solution.
  13. If possible, it would be helpful to get a CT Scan. As that will help identify the actual cause.
  14. You wrote that your ' septum is shaped like a Z or an S '. Which sounds like a 'Deviated Septum'. Though the Deviation can increase as we get older. Which can then cause of blockage of one or more sinuses. So that you might look into whether this could be the problem?
  15. The problem that the child probably has? Is that they are using their fingers to remember the order of numbers. So that numbers are learned and recalled, in a similar way to Alphabet. But the problem they likely have, is that they don't have a sense of each number. As representing a different sized group? Rather, that 9 is the finger next to the finger named 8. What they need to develop, is a sense of different sized groups. Being represented by different numbers.
  16. To help develop your Proprioception, you could try a simple exercise? It just involves, walking around in a 'open space', with your 'eyes closed'. Doing it for a couple of minutes each day. The key factor, is doing it with your eyes closed.
  17. You wrote of your "tired days", which suggests that it isn't constant. But varies from day to day? What could be very helpful, is to keep a 'daily diary' for a while. Where overtime, you might observe something/s that relate to these "tired days"? You could also take and record your temperature daily, and look for any correlation? You could also have test for any anti-bodies, that could be relevant? Human Herpes 6, is also possibly linked to CFS.
  18. Atorvastatin, can in rare cases. Cause something called 'Rhabdomylisis'. Which causes the 'death of muscle fibers'. Hopefully that isn't what is causing the 'swelling'? But you could raise this with your doctor. Here's a couple of links: https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-841/atorvastatin-oral/details https://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/rhabdomyolysis-symptoms-causes-treatments#1
  19. You wrote of a diagnosis of Vestibular Neuritis. Which effects the Vestibular Nerve. Where a Virus is more commonly the problem. But their is some urgency with getting treatment? As initially, this can cause an Inflammation at a point or points along the Nerve. Symptoms will vary, in line with variation in the degree of Inflammation. But the critical issue, is that this Inflammation. Can cause a Lesion or Lesions along the Nerve. Which cause Permanent damage to the Nerve. So that if he currently has Inflammation of his Vestibular Nerve? Then it is critical that this is addressed, to avoid any permanent damage! A course of 'Immuno-Suppressants', could be a first line of treatment. To reduce any inflammation. Which will also help with diagnosis, if a reduction in Inflammation. Also reduces his Dizziness?
  20. If you use someones elses 'work', in something that you then sell. Then you would need to advise them, and possibly make some payment. It just comes down to whether any money will be made from it use.
  21. After so many weeks, this needs to be accurately diagnosed very soon! Firstly, to identify whether his Peripheral or Central Vestibular System is effected? As well as whether one or both sides are effected? Though you wrote that 'moving his head doesn't make it worse or better'. Which rather suggests that his Central Vestibular System may be effected? But you wrote that on Sept 18, you 'thought he was coming down with a sinus infection'. Then on 22 Sept, extreme dizziness couldn't walk down the hall. Which raises the question, of whether this possible 'sinus infection' is significant? I'll attach an article, which provides a comprehensive explanation of evaluating dizziness: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3613190/pdf/npj24.pdf
  22. Palsfamily7, with Acid Reflux their are 2 basic types. As the esophagus has a sphincter muscle at both ends. One above the stomache, and the other at the back of the throat. If the Acid Reflux involves the muscle at the back of the throat. Then their has been considerable research. Which has shown this to be related to Eustachian Tube Dysfunction. So that if this 'upper sphincter muscle' is a part of your Acid Reflux? Then this could very likely be the cause.
