  1. Burts Bees lip moisturizer, CeraVe moisturizer, my Oral-B electric toothbrush. I wear makeup and am loyal to a few other things but those are my most important and most used products. I have recently developed a pretty bad case of rosacea, so I'm waiting on a derm appointment to figure out what the heck is going on there.
  2. If my last was a girl his name would've very likely been Rosemary Hazel, so I'm partial to that. I adore the name Rosemary.
  3. There is no way I would do that. I do, however, go through and organize their stuff every time we move, about every 3 years, mostly because the movers will actually pack trash if it's there.
  4. I really liked that article. Thanks for posting.
  5. I do a HIIT class once or twice a week that is 4 minutes HIIT, alternating with 6 minutes strength using dumbbells or a bar. I do either Body Pump or bootcamp once a week, they use body weight, dumbbells or a bar, and then once or twice a week I do yoga or pilates. When I can't get to the gym, I will do a HIIT/strength video from Fitness Blender, they use body weight or dumbbells and are really great videos. They're also free.
  6. I make kimchi sometimes. My husband likes it, but I'm not the kimchi connoisseur that he is, as he's Korean. I don't ferment anything else.
  7. We are enjoying Glee but it's not particularly wholesome, we love it though.
  8. The ADHD may be a problem, it depends on quotas and if they're getting desperate for people. If he does well on the ASVAB and qualifies for high level security clearance, they may give him a medical waiver, it can be iffy. He should not go in without a guaranteed job unless he wants to be a cop, if he goes in open general, he is sure to be a cop. The pros of being a cop are that he can be stationed at any base, the cons are that he will be deployed A LOT. I know some cops who love their jobs, but most just got stuck with it. About.com is extremely helpful for looking up jobs, called AFSC, in the Air Force, it gives a description as well as the ASVAB scores needed to qualify. If he's linguistically inclined, linguist is a good job according to all the ones I know. My job as a weather forecaster was pretty darned fun if you like fast paced, sciency stuff. I loved it, most days. Good luck to him.
  9. This is labeled chicken tikka masala, but it's definitely butter chicken. It's incredible. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/45736/chicken-tikka-masala/
  10. Well I'm a veteran, my husband is active duty, my brother is a vet, my dad is a vet and the vast majority of my friends are active or vets, and we all support him. I would guess that that is a case of something of a social bubble, if you are conservative you are more likely to know conservative people, and same with me as a liberal. On the issue itself, I'm much more bothered by the reaction than the action itself. Patriotism is not a piece of cloth or a song. Patriotism is a deed. If we are ever so blinded by unwavering patriotism that we are unable to see when things are going wrong how will we ever affect change? I strongly support peaceful civil disobedience, for any cause an individual deems necessary. It's what our country was founded on.
  11. I love tacos of all kinds. We don't do taco Tuesday but we probably eat them once a week, American style. I'm from Northern California where there are lots of taco trucks, but unfortunately, they aren't on every corner yet.
  12. One of my favorite foods, I think I use the one on All Recipes too, it seriously tastes just as good as from a restaurant.
  13. I ended up running 3 miles yesterday on the treadmill at GWL, today is HIIT and then tomorrow will be yoga or a rest day.
  14. Today and yesterday are minimal because we are at Great Wolf Lodge, though I may get in a run tonight when we get home. Otherwise tomorrow will be a HIIT class, and I'm aiming for six workouts a week and 8k steps a day. I almost never struggle with my workouts but often struggle with my steps.
  15. I LOVE Vivacious Victorian, it's all about renovating a beautiful old home, but her style and her humor are great. I used to read a lot of fashion blogs, but haven't found any that I love lately.

  17. Dh makes my coffee almost every morning. He also chops all the veggies for dinner every night, bathes the baby, and cleans the cat box. He's pretty great. â¤ï¸
  18. We just made this tonight and it was a HUGE hit. I served it over rice. http://www.skinnytaste.com/pressure-cooker-stewed-chicken-with-corn-pollo-guisado-con-maiz/
  19. We absolutely adore the Mongolian beef that Zoobie posted. We also do a simple beef stew, and this http://nomnompaleo.com/post/137755902728/pressure-cooker-lemongrass-coconut-chicken, but I prefer boneless, skinless thighs with it.
  20. I love moving, in your situation I absolutely would, and Denver is beautiful. The only thing that would give me pause would be if the kids had strong roots or bonds, but that doesn't sound like the case.
  21. I always look for used curriculum before I'll buy new. We do random field trips based on opportunity, but that kind of thing is totally up to you. I buy and plan all year long so the budget constraint doesn't usually get to be an issue.mi highly recommend picking up some homeschooling books, especially The Well-Trained Mind, it'll help you in finding some direction, even if you don't go exactly as the book says. Good luck!
  22. A nice hotel with a spa for a massage and facial, yoga on the beach, eating out or ordering room service, and a good book. Maybe some shopping.
  23. Just get rid of me in the fastest and cheapest way possible. Maybe the tree thing, or cremate me and dump my ashes somewhere. I don't want to be buried, have any kind of memorial site, or be in an urn.
  24. Overcast and cool enough for jeans, a cardigan, and boots. I live for fall.
