  1. I am not, the world is much too complex to hinge everything on one issue. Certainly there are many issues that weigh more heavily than others for me though.
  2. Thank you! I'm totally worn out lately and trying to figure out if we want to continue or go back to public school. It's rough.
  3. I got a couple stocking stuffers when a local Office Depot was going out of business, otherwise, no. I have no idea what they want and we are doing a huge vacation in December that will be the bulk of our gift to them. Disney Cruise, Disney World, and Universal Studios, so gifts will be light this year.
  4. I like rustic, my house is eclectic but intentional. Lots of rustic, handmade pieces with other more contemporary pieces. I put a lot of effort into the decor and I love it.
  5. That's actually the point of the test, it's not what you answer but how long it takes to answer that they base the results off of, because our biases are the first instinct, then most of us will check ourselves and try to correct them, so they're trying to get that first instinct.
  6. Seriously, the Harvard link is extremely well respected, it's mentioned in almost every single sociology class I've taken, like 15 some odd classes. But yeah, it kind of makes sense that they would want to know who is taking the tests and answering that way.
  7. We use good budget, it's free for 2 devices and you can use it on a computer as well. I like it much better than ynab.
  8. No guns here, we live in the suburbs, but we wouldn't have guns if we lived anywhere else either. Neither of us are into them or care for them at all. I'm prior military and dh is active duty, so we have some experience with them. Ds wants to start bowhunting so we may end up acquiring some bows.
  9. I loved it! And your daughter is adorable. I definitely miss the more laid back feel of California and Hawaii, compared to the places I've lived in the south and the mid-Atlantic.
  10. I LOVE Toby. I've missed Parenthood, so this show is definitely filling that. So far I've teared up several times. The character development is really good imo and they're likeable and relatable.
  11. I do both! It depends on the fault. I'm a perfectionist but watching it in action in some other people makes me want to really try to let more things go. A few years back I went through some major changes in my philosophy on life, and it has made me both more and less tolerant. I definitely have plenty of faults.
  12. I love purses but I just got this backpack and I'm pretty sure I won't be carrying a purse anytime soon. The pocket placement is great, it's comfortable and just the right size. I haven't tried to put my MacBook in yet so I'm not sure if it'll be good when I start grad school. https://www.etsy.com/listing/226045860/leather-backpack-rucksack-womens-in?ref=hp_rv
  13. We had a bout of sickness a couple weeks ago, but we got through it and I've been back at it. I alternate running, HIIT, spin, strength with weights, and sometimes body pump, and yoga. I try to keep it really varied, but sometimes it's harder than others, we only have one car, so I have to work out at home on days dh takes it, though I do have a nice setup in our basement.
  14. Mastiff, hufflepuff, and fir wood with unicorn hair core.
  15. Good luck! I've been there, but in my house I'm the picky one and the painter, he just sets everything up for me and cleans up when I'm done. :D
  16. OT but having worked in a couple doctors offices, this is one of those things that's irritating but ultimately can be lifesaving. An inability to read notes can result in all sorts of problems, which is why paper scripts are almost non-existent now. Hopefully doctors will start to get better at it as they get used to it. I've had some that barely look at me but others who manage it well.
  17. This is exactly what I would do too. :grouphug: I would be ticked.
  18. I LOVE that so much! I wanted to have one more just to name a potential daughter Rosemary, that's how much I love that name.
  19. :grouphug: I have never felt at home anywhere, probably because I've never lived anywhere longer than 3 years, plus I'm a wanderer at heart. I thought if I just bought a house I would feel at home (I've always rented) but as much as I love my house and neighborhood I regret buying, it's expensive and makes me feel confined. I'm just a wanderer through and through.
  20. Vanishing Edge from Soma. They have a bunch of styles and some sticky stuff on the leg hole/rear area that keeps them from riding. https://m.soma.com/store/category/panties/cat40090
  21. The Columbine school shooting was the first major event that impacted me, I think I was about 19 or 20 and had come home on my lunch break to watch TV and eat. It was all over the news. Sandy Hook, I was staying with my parents en route to our move to Hawaii. My dad is a news junkie and could not turn it off. I had to take my kids and leave, it was too much to watch over and over and over.
  22. I could have written your posts. :grouphug:
