Wow the Little Professor was a blast from the past, I remember a friend having that when I was a kid. Thanks for the game ideas. We are always looking for new ones. Does anyone have smartphone app recommendations? I have one that I'm not thrilled with him using.

I'm looking for a way to help my son learn his math facts. Flash cards are a fight. I have been using XtraMath.org but he then needs the computer and that at times has been a conflict. I was looking at the following as something that I can have him use on his own. Can anyone give a review on the items below or other ideas? We used ETC Before the Code too. My son also insisted on doing them himself. What I did was, have him do a page or two of ETC then one page in HWT, one day. The next day we would do a page or two of ETC then I would have him practice what he did the day before in HWT on the gray block paper. I would usually write one line of the letters and duplicate the ones I thought he needed more practice with and he would work on the row below. I never used the chalkboard or other pieces because he never liked to use those, he only wanted to do paperwork.

My son is a south paw and HWT was a huge success for us. I only used the Letters and Numbers for Me with the Gray BlockPaper. HTH

I set up our AHA science account today and it was a hit. DS7 ennjoyed it and DS4 watched and answered questions as well. They both loved it!! The downside is I was hoping to use AHA for DS7 so I can have focused one on one time with DS4 for his speech therapy. I guess I'll have to find some other time. :)

Many great inventors are said to have had or have ADHD, as well as many of our presidents, artists, musicians, actors, etc. My son has ADHD and we have embraced it and teach him that he has an extra tool that many people are not lucky enough to have and that he can accomplish anything but he needs to work hard at it. I was thinking of adding extra science for my DS7. We currently use BFSU but I was wondering if there were any suggestions for online/computerbased science programs that might be more independent. I'm not trying to replace BFSU but just give my son something extra and he loves doing everything on his own. I am interested in but not sure if any of these would be alright for him to use on his own or with minimal assistance. a) AHA science b) edventures c) Exploration Science d) other programs ( perhaps even free:lol: ) Thanks!!
