It sounds like things are getting resolved quickly. Praying that everything continues to go quickly and that you all can move into the house as soon as possible.

CYT - new in Milwaukee
Elisabeth in IL replied to Elisabeth in IL's topic in General Education Discussion Board
One more week til CYT Milwaukee Fall Classes - it's not too late to sign up! NEW UPDATE: Due to low enrollment in our individual classes, we have decided to provide a new opportunity that will aide students in all aspects of musical theater! Students ages 6-18 will work together to perform "Highlights from Music Man." This class will help strengthen you as an actor, singer, and dancer while developing the confidence you need to succeed. You'll learn new techniques that will sharpen your skills, help you stand out at your next audition, and give you the confidence you need to take the spotlight. Meet Our Fantastic TEACHERS: 1. Elliot Aguilar is a graduate of Berklee College of Music and has performed in and directed multiple musicals while in Boston. These roles have earned him recognition with Broadway producers and actors such as: Jo Sullivan, Dave Clemons and John Bowab. Elliot has been featured on MTI recordings of "Sweeney Todd" and "Thoroughly Modern Millie". In addition to the stage he has been a part of many artistic organizations, most notably, The Boston Symphony Orchestra and is excited to add CYT to this list of opportunities. 2. Jodi Hentzell has a passion for performing arts and CYT. She has enjoyed performing since she was 4. Dance, gymnastics, band, and show choir have been her main performing experiences; she has also done human video, mime, theater and worship dance. Tap dancing is her favorite form of dance! Jodi loves to inspire children to use their God-given talents on and off the stage! Easy Online REGISTRATION: http://www.cytchicago.org/classmilwaukeeI am always in awe of how God works things out for the better! I am SO EXCITED about this new class opportunity! Please help us spread the word and forward to your friends! Woo-hoo! Go CYT-Milwaukee! In Christ, ~Lori Walla~ -

SOTW Audio - Are they helpful?
Elisabeth in IL replied to dasilva324's topic in K-8 Curriculum Board
We have all 4 and listen to them in the car. Two years ago my husband had a short term job down in Florida so we listened to them as we traveled back and forth between Illinois and Florida. It was a fun and easy way to hear an overview of World History. I think that they are worth it! -

CYT - new in Milwaukee
Elisabeth in IL replied to Elisabeth in IL's topic in General Education Discussion Board
It's not just the kids who find new friends. I've developed some great friendships with other parents. I've joked that Jared's not allowed to stop CYT now. I have too much invested. LOL I'm going to be up in Milwaukee at the Southridge Mall (76th street entrance) on Friday, August 19th from at least 10am to 12pm selling Boston Store Coupons for Community Day, handing out literature and answering questions about CYT if anyone wants to stop by. I think Lori Walla will be there with me. Southridge Mall 5300 South 76th Street Greendale, WI 53129 414-423-0800 -

How many kids to a bedroom?
Elisabeth in IL replied to Jryanbass's topic in General Education Discussion Board
I've had all three of my boys together in the same room in the past. It has worked out well. With one that has moved into teenagerhood, I don't know if it will continue to work. -
CYT - new in Milwaukee

There should be classes for Winter and Spring. I'm assuming it may depend on how well Fall goes. I know that there are dreams that Milwaukee will do their first show during the Winter session. I'm driving up to Milwaukee from Illinois on Friday to help get the word out. Feel free to copy part or all of my message above and send it to all your friends in the area. :) -

I have to add that my dh always has a quick comeback and wit. Some of the examples that others have posted, ie the pregnancy one, aren't what I consider sarcastic rather quick witted. Do others think that this is sarcastic? I think it is just really quick witted.- 131 replies

I haven't read any of the other posts but I know that I have a hard time handling sarcastic people. I never know how to read them....are they being funny, is their an edge of truth in what they are saying, do they like me or don't they? Maybe it depends on the type of sarcasm....- 131 replies
