9 degrees out when I got up and we were out of the house first thing to get the braces on the youngest. Her best friend was literally by her side getting hers on too, what a blessing. Gave them a day off so they are hanging out on the misery loves company theory.

Stove went out long enough to get cold, had to open all the doors and windows until it heated up enough to draw. This couldn't have been yesterday when it was in the 40's? Oh well, going well now.

Best part of school? Jenny's math and logic commentary. For example, logic problem, Jane, Amanda, Blake and Sue are blah blah blah. Now, can we ASSUME that Jane is a girl? What if Joss Whedon wrote the problem? HMMMM? Wait, I want a logic book written by Joss Whedon!!!

Yesterday our 12 year old asked me to take her to the used book store/ Why? Becuase she said she needs to start reading more important books because she is going to be an academic, "I'm not good for anything else." She is starting with Sherlock Holmes, lol.
