  1. Just purchased the Cuisinart TAO-60. Since Covid, I have really gotten into creative cooking and am enjoying expanding my repertoire into more and more healthier foods. I am looking forward to creating with the air fryer/convection toaster oven.
  2. I aim for 18:6 or 16:8 most days with a 24 one day a week. It feels good to not be a slave to a hunger pang.
  3. It is just dh and I as dd is on her own and ds is in college. Is a CSA worth it for 2? I shop weekly at a variety of stores for fresh and immediate need items and for stocking items (if on sale). That would probably not change as I am picky on the quality of what we eat and prefer menu shopping. Thanks.

  5. I purchase the Audible annual Premium (now with Plus) 24 credit for $229-averaging about $9.50 a book. This is great for my family of 4.
  6. I am in behavioral mental health and am considered essential and higher risk because I have IRL contact (typically from a 6ft distance). Thoughts on why my county is offering Moderna over others and concerns and relief.
  7. All-Clad pots and pans and bakeware. A couple of Pampered Chef stoneware-pizza stone and baking sheet. I wanted a lifetime warranty and for my son, who is a culinary student, to be able to inherit them. I also have Lodge cast iron skillet and dutch oven.
  8. We had our air ducts cleaned a few weeks ago and the mold in our crawl space today along with a dehumidifier installed. Our home is almost 30 years old and in both cases trouble was beginning (evidence indicated) and we nipped it in the bud. My dh and I have decided that this is our "forever" home so we think of it as an investment into our retirement and into our health.

  10. I walk just about every morning after I read Scripture, a devotional, journal, and review memory verses. Then, when I walk, I pray and meditate. I get up very early to make this happen (and go to bed early), but it has served me well for 30+ years and is a very important grounding part of my day. The rest of the day can go downhill (and it often does), but I have had my time and time with God.

  13. Received a capsule machine-size 00 (by request). Plan to encapsulate all my green powders, powdered collagen, and would like to move into encapsulating my turmeric and some other herbal and nutritional supplements that are much more economical in bulk powdered form. Suggestions of organic, non GMO brands? And methods of encapsulating? And most cost effective DIY encapsulation vs pre-bought products. Thanks.

  18. I received a $400 OTC from my insurance company. I have never received one of these before. Apparently it covers an Apple Watch w/ cellular because of health benefits. I have never considered an Apple Watch, but wonder if I should use my card for that or for other OTC items. I would have to pay the cell line fee. I would use this card at Walmart. Thanks.
  19. The little bit of research I have done is not completely agreeing that dairy contributes to inflammation in the body, but yet, I understand that it does. Does anyone have legitimate links that will help me to navigate this issue please. I am not committed to one outcome or the other just want better understanding of what I should look for in my own body in regards to inflammation and the science/reasoning/health behind it. Thanks!
