  5. I am planning a silent meditation, yoga, writing retreat weekend-at home. Children are young adults and husband will be fine doing his own thing. I will include walking, bike riding, and possibly a massage, but mostly want to focus on yoga and writing with moving meditations. I would like non dairy, non sugar, and non flesh recipes to prepare ahead please. I appreciate your time:)

  10. I always have to pay taxes, because I am self employed. I wasn't expecting a stimulus reimbursement, because I am not sure that I qualified-just assumed I was not. I never seem to qualify for anything. Both my dc are young adults. My youngest received his with his name on it. My oldest is in a different state and filed her taxes much later and has not yet received hers. I assume if her's comes to my address it will also have her name on it. This one has dh and my name on it. The direct deposit was labeled as a stimulus payment. This is just a paper check from the federal government. I will return it so that I do not find myself in a world of trouble🥺 Thanks for the links!
  11. I had a stimulus payment directly deposited into my account for dh and I about a month ago. Yesterday, I received a paper check via USPS from the Federal Government for $2400. Which I assume is a second stimulus payment for dh and I. No letter or explanation is attached. What should I do with the paper check as the IRS is closed and not taking phone calls. I do not intend to cash it or spend it and will probably write VOID on it.
  12. My 30th anniversary this July will be spent backpacking Pictured Rocks Trail along Lake Superior and backpacking in Isle Royal. We will travel home with an overnight or possibly two on Mackinac Island. Where shall we stay? Eat? And highlights? Keeping in mind safe distancing and non crowded situations.
  13. Western North Carolina-has it all🙂
  14. Acorn is an add on with Amazon Prime for British shows.
  15. I have a few entertainment streaming subscriptions: Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, Acorn Yoga streaming: Yogaglo, and Alo moves. (I am an avid yogi) I would like to add more educational streaming subscriptions: Which ones? How many streaming subscriptions do you have?
  16. I have a flight scheduled for the end of June and am undecided if I will go. I am reading that airlines are not adhering to social distancing guidelines. Not sure if that is true. I am nervous, but can't contact Expedia regarding the flight until 10 days prior. What are your thoughts on flying?
  17. Lakanto Monk Fruit and Swerve used here.
  18. I am thinking to try a year subscription to share with my adult children. Is it worth it? MasterClass.com
  19. My TV is ancient. I would like to stream on some of the apps that are available. Please recommend a small TV or a devise to attach to my current TV. Thanks
  20. Several classic crime/mystery shows seem to be on these streaming platforms. Does anyone have experience with either? Are they worth it? Acorn is doing a 30 day free trial so I may give it a try-just curious. Thanks.
  21. She provided pictures and detailed instructions and every single piece of equipment needed, plus my unique formula of product to color my hair. She dropped it off at my home on my porch and I left her a check in an envelope. I know I could do it all myself with a box mix, but I really appreciate her ingenuity and want to support her as she tries to survive this also. Plus her formula for me is spot on and I only do lowlights on shoulder length long layered hair so their shouldn't be a huge "mess up." My husband is a high school art teacher, ended up being midwife delivering our first child at home, and now will get to be a hair stylist. Survival of the most creative and resourceful:)
