  1. Or a neck tattoo. http://www.pratttribune.com/article/20150409/NEWS/150409265 People can do whatever they want, but it’s ridiculous for someone to get a body modification of some kind that is designed to get attention and then get upset when people give attention to it.
  2. I’m pretty sure I’ve had it at least twice, though I’ve never done a test to confirm. I’ve also had pneumonia twice.
  3. Yes. I just keep my mouth shut during most discussions about Santa. People get so worked up over it. To be fair, people who don’t do Santa can make a big deal out of it too.
  4. I was only 5 or so when I discovered the truth and was very upset that my parents would willfully deceive me despite telling me how important it is to be truthful. I felt like I had been punked and questioned what else they had told me that wasn’t true. I got over it, but I never told my kids Santa was real. They were in on the game from the beginning, and we never said anything was from Santa or made a big deal out of it at all.
  5. You must have skipped a lot of posts.
  6. "Slut shaming" is really what you've taken from this whole discussion? :001_rolleyes:
  7. I haven't used my actual crockpot since I bought my IP and keep thinking I may as well get rid of it. I hate the crockpot insert anyway, as it's impossible to clean.
  8. I use mine several times per week, sometimes more than once in the same day. It’s the best kitchen appliance I’ve bought in recent memory and have even considered getting another one in a different size. I wouldn’t say you can make things “super quick,†as cooking times may be fast for some things but you also have to account for the time it takes for something to come to pressure (and release, if you let it release naturally rather than sliding the vent).
  9. I think the book makes your tendency much clearer than the quiz. When I asked about the book here a few months ago, I think people were too fixated on the quiz itself, which isn't the point.
  10. I’m a Questioner who tips toward Upholder—like Rubin’s husband.
  11. I’m so confused! It almost looks like she put a shirt on upside down over her legs and made pants out of it.
  12. I suspect the viral short story mentioned previously is the primary reason it was published.
  13. Hulu has free one-month trial subscriptions.
  14. Because she’s terrible—much more diabolical than Thomas.
  15. What you left out: However, the cost isn't exactly cheap. Initial prices start from around $849 to $1,749 with annual storage fees raking up at $120. But for some parents, it's nice just to be able to have the option. I doubt anyone who answered Yes in this thread has saved their kids' baby teeth in the manner being discussed in that article—sticking them in a bag or box somewhere doesn't count.
  16. Just started it tonight. Thanks for the recommendation!
  17. I don’t know how many seasons there were after Kellie Martin left the show, but I never watched it again.
  18. No one in our family (including me) even wanted to bother opening the can of wasabi mixed nuts I got in a gift basket at Christmas, but they were inhaled rather quickly when I took them to work.
  19. Does the program account for breastfeeding when determining how many points you get?
