  1. We have used AoPS for Prealgebra and Into to Algebra.  I am considering looking for something SLIGHTLY less difficult for Geometry (not interested in going to something at the level of Teaching Textbooks etc).

Would Jacobs fit this desire, or is it similar in difficulty to AoPS?

    Any other suggestions?

  2. I keep thinking there should be an app or a desktop program that is like an AAS white board. DH tells me he doesn't have time to make one, but it doesn't seem too difficult so I thought I would see if anyone has seen something like it...

or even something that would be use touch or a mouse with spelling space with the letters listed on the screen in alphabetical order (no need for build in spelling lists/checking etc).

  3. We did half and half. I used the history/geography section of What Your Kindergartner Needs to Know as an outline.

We started with the Me on the Map book above. Then we learned about each of the continents (read books from/about some of them, learned about the countries, wildlife, food, culture, art and music in each).

Then we did a brief overview of American history.

We have been slowly doing BFSU this year. I am planning to do RSO life some this summer. Finish BFSU next year and maybe more RSO depending on how we like it. I really like the plan in BFSU and love the explanations, but I think RSO will add some fun and interesting activities.
