I did it! I hit 52 books.
But my challenge for myself was to make half of them non-fiction since those take me longer to read and I hit that mark, too. So I'm pretty satisfied with my progress (even though technically in years past I read more books).

And this is why I have a rule for my elementary teachers that all projects must be done in class. The parents are crazy sometimes. We used to have a Christmas locker decorating contest for the kids but the parents went so berserk and it became so competitive that we stopped it entirely. We also no longer have birthday celebrations in class because of the nutty parents that go overboard every time.
I feel for you. I'm not crafty either.

I use some tissue to get a good grip on the tooth, then TWIST and pull. It's the twisting that makes the difference.

I can tell you my mother's thoughts on the matter were that breast feeding was for poor people. If you nursed it meant you could not afford formula. That was the attitude of many of my relatives.
This is my family as well. My grandmother had 12 kids and was very, very poor and breastfeed all her babies. My mother associates breastfeeding with poverty and formula with affluence. That is how I was raised and it influenced my decision with my first child (unfortunately). Now that I'm older I might do it differently.

...to start over. Even though I know that leaving Malaysia is the right choice, the idea of all that has to be done... Find new jobs, find a new home, sell everything we own here, pack up the rest, move it across the world, sell our vehicles, buy new vehicles there, buy everything we need for a new home from scratch, figure out schooling options... And on and on...
I'm not ready.

I live in Malaysia and have been here for nearly 6 years. We go to Singapore all the time and we LOVE it. It is amazing. Go, go, go!!!!
When we moved to Malaysia my oldest was 11 and my middle was 5. It has been an incredible experience for all of us. My kids tell me all the time how grateful they are that we came here. GO!! :)
