We only visited WA once about 20 years ago, when Gerrit got married to Karen. He lost his first wife many years ago in a terrible car accident which also injured their small children as well. We were so glad that he found Karen and that they've made a nice life together.

All the rest of the family is in southern California though, so when we go visiting we invariably head south.

Last year we almost made it up there, but something happened at the dairy so....

My dc would like to go, and maybe we can make it there this summer. My spring vacation is spoken for!

Trip preparations for Europe are going along smoothly, and we're starting to really look forward to the adventure.
