  1. These are great ideas. We live in the country and a good distance from the city, but I was surprised to find a pottery painting place about an hour away. I think she'll enjoy some onion one time. Thanks for your wisdom
  2. My 7-year-old has many specific interests and for her birthday we got her horseback riding lessons. My father-in-law got her piano lessons and she is going to begin sewing lessons soon. My almost 5-year-old doesn't have any specific interests except panda's and Dora. She is subtly jealous that her sister has all these activities and I think she is hoping for an event or activity for her upcoming birthday. I can't think of anything. Please help me come up with a great birthday gift so my dd daughter doesn't feel like an after thought.
  3. These are great questions for your pastor. A forum is only going to confuse you and lead you through confusing misunderstandings. And this really is a spiritual question. My husband is a pastor and I know he would be disturbed if a parishanor brought this to forum instead of him. May God grant healing through His son.
  4. The books are in great condition and you sent them right away!

    Thanks, Sarah

  5. We just did that last week. Having a physical clock, such as Melissa and doug's, or a real clock is helpful. If my dd doesn't understand it, I give her a few days off and then print it off again and start over fresh on it. Blessings.
  6. We really like inchimals from fat brain toys. They are useful for so many early and elementary math ideas and pretend play.
  7. Thanks...I'm new to the forum and realized that immediately, but is there a way I can delete this post.
  8. Does anyone have advice for a program strong in grammar and writing?
  9. My 7-year-old dd loves writing and is often writing and illustrating her own short stories. We love our Spell to Write and Read program and so we don't need phonics, or spelling. We read a lot. She knows little grammar and writing, however. What programs do you recommend for our needs?:) Thanks for your help.
