  1. Boy, all this industriousness on ITT! Just one question....Ducky.... Frozen tomatoes. This requires an explanation.
  2. Booya/h?? Where is it? Heehee! I got it!! Woohoo! "Should auld Booya/h be forgot And never brought to Booya/h.... Should auld Booya/h be forgot and days of Auld Lang Booya/h"
  3. Ok, I have been discreetly post-padding. There's got to be a Booya/h in here somewhere!
  4. I'm not Kon-Mari-ing anything today. I am a Kon-Mari rebel. We just had lunch. I made bread this morning and did a bit of laundry. Now, I will attempt to start my bullet journal.
  5. Boy are still sleeping. I think I need to wake them up. Or they'll never sleep tonight.
  6. I do it all the time. I hate picking up Legos. So I vacuum them up. Ha!
  7. yes you do, sweetie! I'll send the boys over with coffee and sweet rolls! a truer word was never said. That is accomplishing much! You met the needs of your offspring.
  8. There's a big ol' beautiful scrub Jay at my feeder. I need to clean it out and refill it. It doesn't have a roof, so when it rains it becomes a bird bath.
  9. Did I post this blog site about bullet journaling ? Or did I just send the link to my BFF? I can't remember and I'm too lazy to figure it out. Anyhow, it's very good! http://www.thelazygeniuscollective.com/blog/how-to-bullet-journal. I was perusing it while waiting for the boys to get home and finishing my second cup of kauphy without bugs.
  10. That's one of my favorite movies! I love Goldie Hawn!
  11. Ooooh, now that sounds like lots of fun! My DH and I can barely get away for a cup of coffee.
  12. Good Morning! COFFEE!☕ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸ I'll take a dozen donuts, please, no bugs! My elderly cat is rather demanding, too. She only wants fresh food and is very vocal in her demands.... er... requests. We've been having a new kitty show up in the mornings. A very nice orange tiger kitty. He's obviously not feral, but he's very shy. He is getting more comfortable with me, though. He hasn't been running quite as far each time I go out and feed the cats. I wonder if someone dumped him, or moved and just left him. Well, today we have nothing on the docket. I think I will clean a bit, work on my bullet journal and read. The boys should be coming home soon. They had an All-Nighter with the youth group. The Youth Director, bless his heart, offered to take them home.
  13. I think it's March 31(check to make sure), so no real hurry, but last year I put it off, thing I'd use it when I ordered curriculum for the following school year and I missed the expiration date by abut a week. I was kicking myself.
  14. They should get together with the people in my house who leave 2 tablespoons of milk in the jug in the fridge. They'd have a lot of fun together.
  15. Yes, this is why I like gardening. The satisfaction is much longer lived.
  16. Hi, we're back! I took the girls to "Sing" and Dh took the boys to "Rogue One". They were playing at approximately the same time. All were happy! Renai...((hugs))! Will be praying for your family! Ellie... homemade applesauce is yummmm!!! Jeannie....Glad you are taking care of the brakes. Them's necessary to your survival. Prairie...pizza crust recipe: mix 1 c flour, 1 T sugar, 1 t salt, 1 package yeast, in bowl. Add 1 C warm water and 3 T oil. Beat with mixer 3 minutes. Add 1 1/2 - 2 C more flour until dough is soft and leaves side of bowl. Place on floured surface.knead 5-8 minutes. Cover loosely with plastic wrap. Let rest 30 minutes. I generally roll out mini pizza crusts, though I'm sure a full size one would work, heat oven to 425 degrees. Partially bake 7-8 minutes. At this point I take them out, cool, stack and freeze. They freeze beautifully. If you don't want to freeze, then add toppings and bake at 425 for about 8 minutes. If you do freeze, then take them out when ready, add toppings and bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes.
  17. We use the Usborne Book of World History. I like it for younger kids. It would be great for your second grader, but maybe Kingfisher would be better for your fourth grader.
  18. Ok, the caffeine is starting to take effect. I am waking up! Boooo on early morning swim practice. Completely unreasonable. Boooo on Lana getting sick! Booo on improper grocery storage techniques, Yay to the reappearance of "the founder of our feast" (was that a line from A Christmas Carol? I think so!) Yay to planning the next six weeks! I am getting my hair done this morning. Gotta keep those grays at bay. Dh has off today and then back to work tomorrow. We're taking the kids to a movie. We're gonna see "Sing", which I think will be good. Yesterday I got caught up on my budget and prepared my spreadsheets for next year (all expenditures are categorized and listed on an Excel spreadsheet, a technique o finally perfected for our family). I also want to work on my bullet journal.
  19. Good Morning! COFFEE!!☕ï¸â˜•ï¸â˜•ï¸
  20. Well, yeah! What did you expect? Come on in and play a while. We are lots of fun! 😜 Kind of like Thing 2 and Thing 1!
  21. No kidding! It seriously is very bizarre to start reading a book and realizing that something is very very different. I had given all my other HB books to my BFF, so I had to Google it and find out what person all the other books were written in.
  22. The kids are ramped up tonight. DH is having to peel DS13 off the ceiling. Sometimes I feel like George Baily..."you call this a happy family? Why do we have to have all these kids?" 😜
  23. I tried this recipe for dinner....http://allrecipes.com/recipe/68868/chicken-florentine-casserole/?internalSource=hub%20recipe&referringId=1958&referringContentType=recipe%20hub&clickId=cardslot%2025 It was a huge hit. Very yummy, relatively low carb and fairly healthy.
