  1. In your cart at audible, you can uncheck the "use credit" box, then hit update and you will get a cash price (and it is discounted due to your membership). hth
  2. Oooooh, I like this idea :001_smile:. It would be great to know what other vegetarians are preparing.
  3. I think you kids would learn a lot from helping with a mini farm. My daughter would love such an experience :001_smile:. I think you could follow almost any homeschool philosophy for less $, but then it takes more time and creativity on your part.
  4. I'd get a Le Creuset Dutch oven. I've been eyeing one forever, but just can't spend that much...yet. I'm getting close:D Enjoy your treat!
  5. You might want to seek out a health food store and buy some single serving packets of different brands/flavors of protein powders. They can be a bit pricey, so you want to like the flavor. I've been having a scoop of this in the chocolate flavor:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00013YX4A/sr=1-2/qid=1326768563/ref=sr_pop_seeall?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1326768563&sr=1-2 blended with a frozen banana and a cup of almond milk. I want to limit my soy intake a bit, so next time I will look for a non-soy protein powder. I also like plain greek yougurt, almond milk, and a cup of frozen berries (got a huge bag of organic, no sugar added berries from Costco).
  6. You've gotten some good advice. I think the protein and fats from the eggs and nuts should are a good start. Add in some fresh fruit and vegetables so you can eat more, get some fiber & vitamins and hopefully feel fuller. Good luck.
  7. Could this be more migraine symptoms? My husband was recently diagnosed with migraines. He didn't present with the usual headaches, but with dizziness and nausea.
  8. Kel, Can you expand on your solution? Is your dd's kindle registered? To your account? To her own? Does this even matter when dealing with the wifi issue?? Thanks for any help :)
  9. Thanks for sharing--looks like a good site. I found a few books to request from the library for my daughter.
  10. I second a cockapoo. They tend to be on the small to medium size, maybe 20lbs or less. Love the non-shedding...don't think i could go back to a breed that sheds. He is great with our daughter and was easy to train. Good luck.
  11. How long does it take to do a lesson? Or could it be broken up into two parts--one session of the artist/bio and the next session the project? Trying to figure out if we could do this with a group but we have limited time at each meeting. Thanks.
  12. Thanks for sharing! I had no idea there was more content I could add, especially freebies;).
  13. Congrats! I'm on week 3 of the program. Hopefully, I will be as successful as you :001_smile:
  14. We've moved into new construction twice, and this last time bought an older house (30 years old:001_huh:). Much in the house had been updated, so it looked more like a "new" house in the kitchen and bathrooms. My favorite thing is finally having big trees in our yard and around the neighborhood. Yes, we have to rake, but trees are so soothing to me--love all the green in spring & summer, the change of colors in fall, and even the snow covered winter trees. Of course you can find new construction on treed lots, but we always bought in places that had been cleared and new trees planted (that would be great in about 20 years;)).
  15. I think it would depend on if you like reading on the touch. Have you tried it? Maybe try it for a week or 2 and see if you like it. I can't imagine reading on my phone for any length of time and I don't have a touch. I think it would depend on whether you are bothered by the small, back-lit screen for reading. I love my kindle.
  16. Is this your main eating area? If so, I'd get something easy to clean. I really like flor carpet tiles (flor.com). We have them in our family room and I've been thinking about getting some in our kitchen. If you have a spill, you can remove that specific tile and wash it in the sink. Haven't had to do that yet with any of our tiles, we picked a pattern that must be pretty good at hiding stains :tongue_smilie:.
  17. We are doing SL3 also! This will come in very handy! Thanks for sharing!
  18. :bigear: I am wondering this too. Can you get by with just the workbook?
